AH Molly I think the Skerries story grew legs. Lots of people posting apologies for the knee jerk reactions. Apparently they did everything by the book (masks on the bus, isolated as soon as one was confirmed etc), except make a stupid video guessing who'd be next. Well, thats what I heard/read.
The secondary school are all heading up to Carlingford next week, a class every day - I think they are following you!

No medical expert here either brit, but that does sound more positive.
JackieClaire, FANTASTIC news! were you expecting it? Do you reckon they will wait until they can have a big party?
Mind you, hard to know when that might be...

Girl I was running with earlier was telling me all about her alcoholic dad tonight, the way her Mother enables it and how dysfunctional her family relationships are, although non are big drinkers. It was all very sad. Made me feel especially grateful this evening.

Reckon it'll be a fairly quiet one. Ads doesn't have a big family and now they're both in their mid 30s their friends have now boiled down to 'proper' friends if you get my drift so it won't be the world and their mates.
You's lot or the only ones I can tell.
So nighty night lovelies .

JC - Congratulations - hopefully, they will take your advice and make it simple.
brit - thinking of you.

Sound like some good time getting away for Molly & Mary. Sounds wonderful.

Things are about the same here. Spending a lot of time just sitting in my rocking chair next to Mom's bed. She is sleeping most of the time but I like to sit there. As I was rocking this evening sitting in the dark, I thought back to 33 years ago & sitting in that same chair in the same room, rocking my son. Probably listening to the same creak in the floor. Circle of life.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Good morning everyone. Yes it really is the circle of life. Nice that you have the birth of a grandchild to look forward to Nora. Not that many rooms Satz, I’m just a slow painter. Doing the bedroom now and that’s it. For some reason I don’t feel like painting in winter.

What internet thing are you getting JC? Need a new Netflix thing to watch. Saw the Fall on tv. Anyone watching anything good? Just finished reading American Dirt (very good) and have started Where the Crawdads sing.

rustop59...............to cut a long story short. O2 broadband merged with Skybroadband about two/three years ago could be longer and over the last year and a bit its been on & off. We've been told numerous times that there was just a wee fault with the line and lo & behold it was back on in minutes............... these past months its been abysmal and we've piggy-backed off next doors internet but Sky has just trotted out the same old same old. It wasn't until Mr. JC mentioned that Virgin has laid cables in our region with sooper-dooper deals for new customers that they've got of their backsides and they're sending someone to look at our connection and stuff, knocked a fiver of the monthly bill and a new modem.

Exactly the same JackieClaire - I could hardly get through to a sky person. Finally sent a cancellation email and lo and behold, someone was out to fix a box within a few days.

@NoarC, sounds like a very peaceful room

I'll be looking for something new on Netflix by tomorrow night too Rustop!

Brit and Nora and Techie..............you're never far from my thoughts.

My tired is tired. My legs ache like I've done a climb of Snowdonia and all I've done is Lidl.............obs quick scan of virus symptoms and that's not included...........yet

Bess is unblocked so to speak and rather lively when she's awake which isn't often but she's cheeky with it.

Afternoon all. Good to hear Bess is feeling a bit better. Nice here this morning, had lunch outside for a change. Need to make the most of every bit of sun we get. Thinking of Brit, Nora and Techie too. Waves to everyone else, off for a walk with the doggies.
