Good morning/afternoon/evening Army people!

What Molls and Jacks said tonyniceday - please check in no matter what. We do worry about our fellow troopers.

Another lovely day in Stirly-World. September really is the best month weather-wise. Satzybum will have perfect weather for her vacation, I'm sure. Sea is warm, sky is bluer than blue, the sun warming your legs as you dabble them in the waves and the smell of fresh fish grilling. Fabulous!!

Busy here at work and keeping my eye on the clock. Grandson gets dropped off by the school bus at 4 and we have some play time together. Then it's off to home for me at 5:30 to pick up my paint brushes. I have gotten back into it the last month or so and am thoroughly enjoying it. In fact there are days when I can't wait to get home to paint. Relaxing and fulfilling at the same time. Have just finished painting this for my Mom. A belated 90th birthday present....

Hope you are all having a pleasant day!!!

Evening everyone. Wow, what talent Stirly, do you sell them or is it just a hobby? Why would the trees explode JC? Must have missed something. Echo what the ladies said Tony, come back and keep checking in.

Glad you got sorted in the job Molly. You still working from home Mary? Just heard the whole cabinet going into isolation as health minister is unwell and being tested. Do you think we will notice any difference

Thinking of you Brit and Nora, also Techie. Need to get some food.

stirly-girly...............gorgeous. How clever are you???

rustop59..........I shouldn't take the mickey especially when we've got the ridiculous blond floppy hair PM but it came from the orange one in the US......he was talking about trees exploding causing the fires in the US.

It was a scorcher today..............in fact too hot.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Nora, my deepest sympathies. You know that she is at rest and yes, with your dad. And the circle of life continues with your new granddaughter. Mixed emotions, I am sure. You are a wonderful daughter - it was obvious in your posts how much you cared for her and took care of her. Sending you

Good morning Army!!

Thanks for the comments about the painting. It is something that I enjoy so very much but had put aside for many, many years.

Mers, I am most impressed with your new adventure. Wow!! Don't know if you know it or not but our Mrs. A started running at about the age of 65. And she has won marathons in her age category several times. So there you go. Give up the booze and you never know what you are capable of doing. I will be very interested to hear how your pupils do. I'm sure there will be much laughter involved as well as good training.

Ficks - good to see you. You don't need to say much. It's just nice that you drop into the barracks.

Okay peeps - how HOT is HOT in your corner of the world? 23C at 8:30 am -going up to 29 by mid afternoon. Just a lovely, warm September day. HOT here is 35C and above......

Gotta get some filing done early. Thought of calling on Jackie to help but I don't think she would....

Catch up with youz laterz......

Wow, well done you. Did not know Brit took up running at 65. You are an inspiration ladies. Tried jogging years ago but did not take to it. Would walk for miles and enjoy the hill walking which is more challenging. Must get back doing it again. In the meantime better get my ass in gear and walk the doggies.

25C with a gentle breeze from the west.............I can dream.
We've got a sea fret again....so its damp and foggy.

I've cricked my neck......no idea how, but it isn't half painful
