    Re: International Army September 2020

Good morning everyone. Well done Fickle, just shows if you stick at something you can achieve results. I am back at Pilates, just finished a block of 4 classes. She is doing a lot more stretching this time and I am enjoying it more.

Meeting two friends for coffee this morning. First time I have seen them since lock down so looking forward to a great catch up.

Just a quick good morning and waves,
I've got a banging headache.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

          Evening all,
Mad busy day. But tomorrow is going to be great, half day for a hair appointment
Watching Borgen on Netflix (I have subtitles and dubbing on!), its really good if you like politics and media. One character has a drinking problem..reflecting normal life.

Good morning everyone. Hope you are feeling better JC. So nice to be able to get hair done etc Mary, gives us a lift in these depressing times. Met my two friends in Dun Laoghaire yesterday and we had lunch outside, overlooking the water. Little bit cool but nice. Today I am meeting a few of the crochet ladies for a walk in the park. Just have to be creative. Very quiet here yesterday, hope all ok with everyone and that they are just busy. Look forward to reading about Satz adventure when she gets home.

Hope everyone is going better and that your banging headache is gone, JC.

You've done really well Fickle - that's a load of weight off. The ache - iness must be pretty much gone now too. I discovered a new diet guru called Corinne Crabtree. Funniest shite I've seen in a long time. I was rolling around in stitches last night. Language warning though. Home - PNP411

Shout out to Mr G in lock down central.

Healing neck rubs to all those who have had a gutfull - from the virtual spa room. You have your choice of whale music or the soothing sounds of trickling water. Smells include lavender, patchouli or sweet orange.

I've taken some flex time on Monday and intend to do exactly as I please.
                That is all.

PS: Fickle would you like me to 'like' this post for you? Or do you want to do it yourself?

Morning and waves to the world and across the pond.

Still headachey but I'm blaming it on the heating......we've had to use it a few times ad its getting a tad chilly.
Weird thing is the garden is full bloom of sweetpeas, sunflowers, and a plethora of other flowers that I haven't fot a clue what they're called..........in fact best its looked for years despite the wordst summer for years.................can count on one hand how many times we've said 'phew what a scorcher'
I need to replant one of my succulents...........I shoved it in the garden when I was tidying up and its gone from being something nice to put on the dife board to about two feet high.

Theew's some left over salmon and haddock fish pie for your leftover breakie. Its in the freezer just behind the feta cheese .

Now back to this blinking beagle...........Vervaco Modern Dog Cushion Cross Stitch Kit - 4cm x 4cm

I've got a two to go and get made into cushions................stand back I'm about to use the the C word................they're for Christmad pressies............which is three months today.

                  Don't kill me.

Do you need a co-codomol, ibuprofen or a squirt of Bess's pain killer or all three

Got some sad news ...........an aged aunts died last night...........she's the one who survived covid about three months ago and passed in her sleep last night. 95 years old......one of my dad's sisters.

Ah sorry to hear about your Aunt JC. Thats sad. I will even let you off mentioning the C word now :eeks:
My sister in laws mother also passed away, but they live in the US, so if she comes back, shes not getting back home. Its very sad. We cant even go (to stand outside) as its in another county. We are down to phone calls and sending flowers - it just seems so lacking, compared to the gatherings, which were mostly celebrations of life, than morbid affairs.

                        Hair done. YAY!

Evening all. A windy old day here today so I spent the day cooking up a storm of healthy cook aheads. What a lovely way to pass the day. I used to do it with a glass of red or vodka per Nigella guidelines. Strangely I can never remember producing much or finishing a single recipe...The amount of roast dinners that ended up wrapped up in the fridge half done. Can't be killing the buzz with food.

I'm watching an old Oprah show called 'The Other Woman' about women who've had affairs with married men. Astonishing really. Some of the wives were still standing by their philandering husbands and blaming the other woman completely. I've always wondered how and why they would stay with the grub myself but I suppose there's a lot more to it than I understand.

What's going on this weekend folks?
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Good morning everyone. Himself gone fishing and the sun is shining, always happens (he would prefer it grey and dull) I am going to enjoy it. Nice walk planned for later. Have been reading all morning, After the silence by Irish writer, Louise O’Neill. Enjoying it so far.

Good to see you Tabs. Sorry about your aunt JC. Waves to everyone else.
