Quitting and staying quit isn't easy, its learning a whole new way of thinking. It's accepting a new way of life, and not just accepting it, embracing it...
Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Just get through today. Tomorrow will look after itself when it becomes today, because today is all we have to think about.
Friendship is not about how many friends you have or who you've known the longest. It's about who walked into your life, said "I'm here for you", and proved it.

I was at a house yesterday where a known alcoholic was coming to visit, so the homeowners felt the need to remove all the bottles of alcohol from their basement bar and hide them.
I am so glad that that’s not me anymore!!

                  Excellent progress, KTAB!

1850 days for moi !!! Love to see that number getting bigger and bigger. I still have the feelings of both relief and gratitude that I don't drink but most of all the feeling of freedom that comes with not having my mind occupied by AL thoughts all day. When your mind is free of those kind of thoughts and the anxiety that accompanies them, then there is so much more room for positive thinking and for dreaming about things that are not possible when you are in the throes of addiction. And those who cease to dream, cease to live.....
For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.
