Is this the sick bay? I'm feeling proper grotty. Turning over is like turning a large ship.

Its a little cap I wear to cover where he gouged the cataract out. during the night I have to wear it in bed and have antibiotic poured in twice a days in me my eye twice a day............OK its a tiny drop twice a day but it feels like half the Atlantic.
But the good news is I'm starting to see in my left eye. Its amazing.

While I was waiting at the hospital I kept getting my kindle or phone out I and made it loud and clear I was using a sanitize to wipe on both of them.

Jenny is back teaching from home...because of lack of hygiene and much more.. Her post on FB was clever, well thought out and she managed not to swear once.

Is it time for some good news...........Jenny and Ads have set a day and a venue that has a train to deposit guests to the bar. Get your posh frocks on for 26th August 2022.

Morning folks, looking like we are all back to full lockdown here today. Shocking how many people I am hearing of personally in the past week who have contracted Cov. I know there are more tests being done now than back in March but it seems to me as though this has exploded and is much much worse. First in the queue for the vaccine when offered it, and potential side effects can’t be worse than a virus that could possible kill us imo.

Tabbs - I was asking a doctor his opinion on the vaccine today & they are the exact words he used.

As for the numbers now - they are crazy and remember in March we knew nothing & weren't even wearing masks.
it is this new strain from UK and now another from South Africa. Spreads like wildfire.
So our gov. in all their wisdom (not) pick those ONLY those two countries to restrict their entry into Ireland. FFS ! ...........
"Come on the rest of the world - we're open to what you can bring us " !!!!!

he's only allowed 20 mins or something ridiculous..try and give him plenty of free running in the garden but he's a bit precious..hates the wet and cold..we'll survive..my mission is purely to keep him alive and happy till Joe can take over again

Yes Molls - I will get the vaccine on 11th. I asked a the doctor today.
I was in the Mater Private for a Cardiac Scan & then in to the consultant. I was exactly 7 minutes with him - he told me my heart is fine.
Cost €290 cos my health insurance didn't cover it all.

FFS !!! €290 for 7 minutes ................. that is madness... I don't CARE how many years he went to shagging college.

Good morning all!

Im not due in to work today but logging on for a health and wellbeing course. Couldnt have come at a better time because I must admit I have been feeling a tad low over the last few days with everything going on. I really must give myself a boot up the hole as I really dont have anything to be worried about other than the usual world problems and I can do nowt about them.

Over here the vax's are ramping up Satz but I think it will be quite a while before they get the vulnerable done. There seems to be reporting of delivery issues which I guess is the norm with such a massive operation. Still very torn about having one which is doing me nut in. I make a decision then change my mind multiple times per day.

Think I am going to kick off with noting down a gratitude list. Something easy and positive to do to keep my mind in the right frame and actually writing stuff down helps it sink in I think.

How are the patients doing Molls and Satz? I do hope there is some progress today.

That sounds like our private health. My hip surgeon wanted similar for a phone call. Told him to feck off I was coming in. Always get the most bang for my buck :haha:

Morning..Mutt is up since 5.30..which in Starty world is probably near lunchtime but hey ..to me it's early! However jilly brought me a late Christmas present yesterday of a dog bone so that'll buy me an hours peace later today.

The logistics of moving a 90 degree under (or whatever ) around the world is horrendous id say so im cutting them a wee bit of slack until it is set up.
Was well impressed with Joe's test results WELL within the time they said despite enormous numbers this week..so yeah I'll give them a week or two to get organised...after that...it's a shoot out:welldone:

Good morning everyone. Great news about the wedding JC, nice to have something to look forward to. What a shit show in the US, see all his Twitter, Facebook accounts etc have been suspended and rightly so, he should be impeached. Scotland said that they are not having him next week, hope he does not decide to visit here.

Too dark to see out but it was a frosty night. Hope I get my walk in. Once I get that I am happy to potter around the house for the day. Made homemade soup yesterday and brown bread, yummy.
