If my daughter can teach then your community should be allowed to see people.
Apologies if I've said this before but we could have our painter and decorator back in the house while,the kitchen fitter mending the cupboard door and an electrician mended the heater in the bathroom then its a big fat YES your residents should be able to see someone. It may have to be just one or two person nominated (that might be the wrong word) but I hope you know what I mean.

Re:dog. Its going to be a while so it was suggested we choose another. And so we did......... like a fool I keep looking at his photo and imagine him living here. He's part lurcher too.

And remember I mentioned budgies.......Mr JC's found a new interest he's reading a lot of how to care for a budgie. Let's just hope he doesn't find the hamster cages in the loft.

Are you able to visit Joe at all Molly? Must be so difficult if you can’t. I have had to drop my daughter at the door each time and then come back and collect. At least I could call her and not have to go through staff. Hope he is soon out of ICU. Is Mr Satz home yet?

What a strange year we have all had. Looking forward to Spring for the light if nothing else.

No...no visits...and that is hard..but it's the right thing..he's still in ICU..some complication that I'm waiting for them to explain to me. I'm really sorry Rusters I may have missed...is your daughter ill..or is she medical staff?

Walk dog, make breakfast , drive back to Santry for a n utterly disgusting yoke - a raised toilet seat . Him beside me telling me how to drive aaaggggghhhh.
Home - out again shopping. Then walk dog again - make dinner : install said disgusting toilet seat .............all this on my day off ....
The good news he's able to walk from one end of our road to the other. Quite amazing really after surgery on Saturday.

How is your good eye doing [MENTION=7008]JackieClaire[/MENTION]? And what is the current situation with schools there, I lose track. We are completely shut down, but there is a lot of noise being made for special needs.

Funny on the loo seat [MENTION=9094]satz123[/MENTION], cant believe hes walking so quickly. My mates BIL is no where near that, struggling use the stairs. He came out yesterday.

Big shit show going on here, left over vaccines given to a doctors kids!! like they couldnt find an over 70s person or front line staff in the whole of Dublin. Some people are on another planet.

Could have slept another day. Our bubble popped around for 10 minutes and didn't leave for four houses.

[MENTION=9094]satz123[/MENTION]..........if you'd just asked we've got one of those toilet things in the loft, you could have had it on loan. . We ended up buying another one for when he went back to work..............it came in handy as his boss bounced down a mountain in India from a motorbike so they needed an office one.

[MENTION=22411]IamMary[/MENTION]..........the new eye is amazing. I saw colours in their 'proper' way for years and could actually read something in any type size. The new round for my right eye starts 27th January but the results are going straight to my surgeon. Before I can only describe it as having a rather thick piece of clingfilm put over your eye.

The schools are shut apart from those kids with parents that are key workers. So Jenny's only in school about a total of 8 hours and the rest is on-line. It gives her terrible headaches but what's amazing is her kids are listening, doing their homework, you can play. They're looking forward to school, her test results are up. Jenny's putting it down to the fact its mid-winter, bleak outside and there's only so many on-line games.
In fact everythings shut apart from food shops. The vaccine is being rolled out Ma & Pa in law had there's a couple of weeks ago and now they're on the over 70s.

They've to operate again Friday..much less invasive surgery tho so should be okay

Evening everyone. Thanks for that Techie. Hope all goes well with Joes next procedure. Daughter had abnormal smear beginning of year Molly and has been having treatment in the Mater. Delighted Mr Satz is up and about. Yourself and Bridget would make a great double act. Always give me a laugh and God knows we need it.

Working week over. Feet up now watching some shows I recorded.
