Thank you for the thread, Byrdie. Yesterday was a tough one for me for some reason (perhaps I hit the pandemic wall) and I was going to just let the day pass quietly. But then I opened [MENTION=7008]JackieClaire[/MENTION] 's SHOUT OUT thread and it reminded me to value the 8 years and to be proud. Today I'm glad I spoke up - it is uplifting to hear from sober friends.

CONGRATULATIONS friend. I've celebrated you on other threads, but there's no such thing as too much celebrating someone who helped me so much.

Congrats and I will gladly admit the thought of "I should have 8 years sober too!" did cross my mind. I should have 13 years sober had I done this all a little different, but I also will admit that folks like you Nosugar are why I now do have 894 days sober. Thanks for all the inspiration!
