Morning and waves to the undies,
The only exam I got an A in. Home Economics. Yep, eggs (not fried), blancmange, and for some reason lentil soup for an invalid. I've always found a good curry works wonders.
mollyka.............thought of you last night when I saw this. To be honest I'm surprised how many of our eras are a lot more excited than the young ones.

amazing -- and tbh - my two older boys are fascinated by it -- think it's the movies where they almost realistically set up communities on Mars -- like under a cover for air and such --- if they offered me a one way ticket to Mars for that first community - I'd be so poxy tempted --- would go in a heartbeat if my family could come too!

Never did Home Ec.. it was that or music -- obviously had to do music

NCT today -- hope it'll be okay -- poor old car getting a bit aged...

Evening everyone. Hope you got through the NCT Ok Molly. It is such a pain but needs to be done. Takes ages to get appointment. My daughter is due in May but could not get appointment until June. Loved Home Ec in school and still enjoy cooking.

Hope you enjoyed yourself in the garden Bridget. Love the new season of Line of Duty. Really enjoying it. Glad to have work week over and I believe that the weather is going to be nice.

Twas lovely today too Rusters..out in the garden all afternoon..well..what's left of the garden after the canine juggernaut dealt with it!
Yup passed the NCT..so another year done..Will get a small lump sum when I retire ..think we'll have to update the car

Of course, we're always a month behind a month oop here in the north. Sun was out but don't let that fool you.............its still freezing.
We have some good news our godson and his fiance are going to be parents in November. I'm going to become a Granty and Mr JC will be a Grunty. His mum and I made the names up.

The only thing I know about our car is its a red estate. You'll have to wait until how huge Max grows to match the car.

I cut his 'hair' last time - # 1 all over - he was delighted. So easily pleased.

Well the tramps must be all the same, I cut MrMs too. I started to get fancy and have introduced a no. 2 and tell him its a 'fade' (more like an uneven bowler). He says hes never going back to a barber now, so that was a bad move.

Good morning everyone. Congratulations Grunty and Gruncle, nice to have some good news.

God, we have all become Barbers. I have been doing it too with mixed results and like Mr M, he says he will not be going back to the barbers. Although the long, grey stragly hair is not a good look in older men. My neighbor is sporting it at the moment and it’s dreadful. Funny Mr R puts on jeans and polo for working at home and then after his run or walk he changes into tramp gear.

You are up early Brit, hope you got your run in. I will be walking the doggies in a bit.

Gawd Whizzy and Rusty you two were up sharp.

Not a lot on today so will take Mikey to the stream. He gets a walk and you get to talk to other dog walkers who are as desperate as you are to talk to someone else.

Its my Peer group tonight. I didn't half moan and groan about going last week and then thoroughly enjoyed it. Wasn't until the end that I discovered that the moderator was our painter and decorator.

Just popping in to say goodnight..feeling strange...Joe is getting on with life..out on his bike today and he's going again tomorrow and Sunday and I'm here doing stupid courses online and minding HIS dog.

I should be thrilled he's well enough to do all that..but I think I'm jealous..or feeling discarded..nothing to look forward to...I asked him to find a nice kennels that we could plan a holiday later in the year..nah..not a sign of him doing it...why can't I be just delighted that he's well?!!

That's a perfectly normal feeling Molly. There was so much going on before this point - the release brings on a new set of emotions, especially that your stuck doing boring courses!

Cut the tramps hair earlier. Panic stations as hes heading to Belfast tomorrow for work and cant wear a tracksuit!
I have the house to myself, so looking forward to that. I moved my desk 90 degrees yesterday and I cant believe the difference it has made - I might get into the feng shui business!!

MrS is starting to go out & about too after his hip op & yes I feel 'dumped' too.
Bloody Tidy Towns & I'm left for hours with Rosie.

As you say it's HIS dog ... so his job to get a kennel or a dog minder.
You just book your holiday ..... have that to look forward to. You've been a rock to him in recent months ....


AND we'll need kennels in Sept to get away...... it's a problem - cos she's with us 24/7....

Thanks ladies...felt a certain relief just sharing that..I do find tho ...now that he's retired and specially since he was sick..that everything is 'down to me' ..nothing proactive with Joe now he just leaves all decisions to me (that happened before he was sick btw )...even now with the poxy dog..it's me suggesting things to make things better/different...whatever..anyway ..enough..I'm going to buck myself up!!
Any news? I share Mr.M's fear of dressing up...my wardrobe has been so simple for so long...crossover between trakkies and jammie bottoms some days!!
Couldn't ABIDE working from home tho..since I got these work phones and laptops it's like I'm on tap all day!! At least at work I can avoid annoying people by going round the corner ;-)
