Off for a run after another disturbed night-- haven't got sky or any of the other streaming channels but do have Netflix.

Listened to Kind Hearts and Coronets on audio and got Jane Eyre lined up for tonight.

My arm is teeny bit sore......on Wednesday was a tad hard for me. .so back to being a tip.

Good morning everyone. Happy birthday to Joe, beautiful morning here and tomorrow is meant to be better. Knew it would be, himself gone fishing. No idea who Camille is, googled and it mentioned a US TV presenter?

Great excitement around the village here as they are filming Disenchanted and Dr Dreamy (Greys Anatomy, Patrick Dempsey) is around. Amazing how they transform the buildings.

Just finished watching Mrs Wilson on player. Three parts and based on a true story, amazing.

Got Jenny and Ads staying for a couple of days from tomorrow. She had her first jab today and its feeling sore so she's on the sofa looking tragic.

Happy birthday Joe, my dads birthday today too!! Lovely dinner but by cake was a fail! hes a celiac, so trickier.

Arm was REALLY sore all night. Couldnt lift it over my head! no other side effects, long run today and was grand.

Morning folks, happy hangover free Sunday. Not a lot bar the mundane day to day stuff going on in my world right now. Myself an DW are a few weeks out from getting the second jabs and a return to normality whatever that is. A mega day working in the garden planned, still so much to do before the season moves on. Despite the busy work in the garden it is important to stop and take time out to relax and enjoy the space, which I do, it really is special to me. I was relaxing by the pond last night watching the fading sun over the hills and thinking how truly beautiful it was, how simple yet not. It is surprising how for so many years something like that would not have interested me in the slightest but I suppose that is a life lesson, everything is in a constant state of change, not least us as people despite how mundane our day to day lives can seem at times. Have a good day however you choose to spend it.

Morning folks! Love enjoying the simple things Tabbers..it's a huge part of recovery imo...for so many years I couldn't imagine enjoying anything without the security of drinking..beautiful morning here...Jilly's birthday today...last of the 4!!

Good morning everyone. Glad you made it home safe and sound Molly. Enjoy the birthday celebration. The sore arm only lasts a day, well worth it. I should have my second shot in a week or two.

Another beautiful morning and I intend to just enjoy the garden today and sit out in it. Spent all day yesterday working.

Lost one of my hearing aids in the supermarket yesterday............. sticks gratitude hat on and think at least I've got one. Luckily they're insured.

Jenny and Ads arriving any minute and they're off to look at their 'venue' so I'd better get dressed.

Beautiful weather for a bank holiday hope you all enjoy it.

Waves, fabulous day today. Beaches totally mobbed! All outdoors fun, like we are advised to do.

Happy birthday to all the birthday blokes today. Did you get that eye slot there JC? Amazing what can happen over the phone these days. I haven't been into a Dr appointment for 18 months. Grubby old medical centre it is.

Haven't been in for my first Covid shot yet because then they'll want me back at work. I think I'll parlay that into another sick day, such is my contempt. Serves them right.

OK I'm off. I've found another Irish cottage YouTube channel to gawp over.

Morning Bridgeeeeee,
Couldn't find the prescription ( I've prolly said that) so told the book in woman that I'd ring back. I did found it so I rang back.........luckily I used the house phone (its free) and being bored decided to time how long I was going to wait. I gave up after 78 minutes (used the stopwatch on my mobile) We popped into the optician on Saturday just to make sure it was the right document and it is. (in-grained doubt symptom had kicked in).
So either Mr JC or I will ring tomorrow. I'll lend him my kitchen timer.
Oh forgot to add to the misery I lost one of my hearing aids in the supermarket on Saturday. Got to say they were fab, sympathetic

On the bright side (yes there's a bright side) I can see with my glasses and hear quite a bit with only ear-trumpet.
