Gidday Troopers,

Good luck with the testing etc. Mary.

Congratulations Rusters and Molly! Wow, that's so cool. West coast for you both if i remember correctly? You might hear some Aussie guitar faintly in the wind over there.

Big waves and hello to all.

Re: September Army 2021

Good morning everyone.

You are not alone JC, I did the same with the dentist, think our diaries are so empty we are over anxious to get somewhere :egad: Enjoy.

OMG Molly, delighted for you. Gas it happening to both of us the same week. It is quite exciting and I am keeping everything crossed that it all goes through ok. Our Cottage is in Mayo Mary, about a 3 hr drive from here. Only about 15 min from where I am from originally. Tiny and very very basic so major work to be done. It is for his retirement and a holiday home so no big rush. It is the location we are going for. It is on the lakeshore, only 20 minutes from Ballina and the Moy (Fly fishing capital of Ireland). 8.5 acres of woodland so no lawns but major cutting back to be done.

Have crochet class this morning so better get a move on.

Morning and waves to the world,
I did it again................I thought today was Saturday.

HUGE congratulations on your house buying, Molls and Rusty. Not sure if its :welldone: or :yay:..........I'll go with both.

mollyka..............luckily I got a lift with my sister-in-law and it's quite a drive from her and my brother's house so we were very polite and escaped after the food. By then the young ones were full of prosecco and the noise level was deafening. There were lots of 'fun' games to play after we'd filled our stomachs.
There wasn't a gender reveal as they don't want to know. I might have puked over her hedge. As my dear auld granny used to say............'you get what you're given'.

How is the green baby doing, these days?
It could be worse, I could be filing.

haha -- we'll be near enough neighbours :victorious: we are near enough Ballinrobe -- near Lough Mask and Lough Carra -- swimming in the latter which makes me very excited -- and Joe is deffo going to get a wee boat.... not ON the coast - but 20 mins from Westport etc.... it's strangely exciting - but also sort of anxious making -- neither of us slept a wink last night!

Thanks for the congrats folks --
no idea bout the green baby -- but the green baby's mam and dad are so precious that they have been WFH for 18 months - getting full pay --- some mutter about asthma that no one knew either of them had...... par for the course with those two!! anyway - they're all getting shot back into their jobs amid much weeping and gnashing of teeth!

Hola Army. I want to add my congratulations to you new home owners. I know how exciting that can be. However, after seven corporate moves, I’m not sure I have another one in me. Weeks ago, in our storage area, I notice a box with five different moving companies inventory stickers on it. Mary, gave you ever done an ultra? 50 or 100 miles? Since I’m giving up the triathlon after 2022 Escape From Alcatraz, I was thinking of training to do an ultra. I wish I could just do regular stuff like fishing or bowling, etc. Hahah!

I get days of the week all hosed up too, JC. By the way, Happy New Year.

Morning,
Himself has gone to SW. He made cauliflower and chickpea curry the other night.........most of SW recipes I don't mind eating but this was revolting. I had a bacon sandwich instead.

:hahaha:

I used to go fishing with my dad, then later on with my friend's husband (honestly we went fishing). Then they split up..........she'd been ermmmmmmmm playing away while we were out fishing and we lost touch.

mollyka and rustop59...........I can feel your excitement. As well as being green with envy I can feel your excitement.

Good morning everyone.

Yea it is definitely exciting. Love Lough Carra, the water is so so clear. Spent a weeks holiday there last summer. We could indeed have been close neighbors Molly. Mask and Carra were well up the list but nothing was for sale. Well there was but it was close to a million! Ended up on Lough Conn instead.

Was chauffeuring late last night so a bit tired this morning. Need to bring the dogs for a walk and that is about all I have planned.

Heading over to my son’s house this morning to his garden. It involves a noisy power saw. How early is too early to turn that on do you think?

Never too early for the power tools Tabbers.

Morning and waves to the universe,
Mr. JC lost another 2llbs. I think he was a bit disappointed as he's been so good this week. But better off than on.

I agree never too early for power tools as long its not in my bedroom and I'm asleep.

Autumn has arrived.............I love watching the colours change.

Morning everyone

It is indeed a beautiful morning. Not too early for the power tools Tabs and sure nobody is out late any more so they can’t complain. Mind you I am a morning person and my daughters tell me that it is really annoying.

Glad that they managed to have the communion Molly. All these rites of passage are important. Well done Mr JC.

Off out to the garden to enjoy this beautiful weather.
