Sons and daughters, Husbands and wives,
The planes they hit ,taking their lives
Burns and scarring, causing wounds and pain,
Shattered beings never ever the same

Civilians, police, firefighters all,
Rushed to help and answer the call
Climbing the stairs to reach those loved and cherished
They gave their lives, 343 perished

So this weekend as the days go by,
Take a pause, look up to the sky,
A terrorist attack it sealed their fate
Those innocent victims ..remember this date
