Evening everyone.

Glad you are enjoying Galway Molly, love it, although probably bit uncomfortable when it is so busy. Good luck living in the hall Mary, it will be definitely worth it. Where is JC? she has not checked in for a few days, which is not like her. Have not stayed in the Lodge Satz but am sure that it is fab. Stayed in the castle last year and it was amazing, expensive but not near as much as Mollys son was quoted. Fresh start for your daughter, very exciting.

Was meant to be going to Kilkenny this weekend for a roundy birthday but when I rang to book dinner the main restaurant wasn’t open, could only give me the Grill. If I wanted expensive bar food could go into the village. Read trip advisor and it got a bad review for the same thing last week. That person was told that it was only open weekends due to lack of staff. Cancelled and we are just going local.

Dead right Rusters...the hotel we are in...it's grand...nothing amazing but comfy room..fabulous like 8ft bed (it feels like anyway)..BUT...dinner last night was shocking...I never ever complain...neither does Joe...but we left the food behind us after telling them it was appalling...we went out into Galway tonight..had a fabulous meal with lovely service for half the price...the review will not be mighty!

I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip Molls. I love Galway. I’ve played The Galway Bay Golf Resort golf course. One of the best courses I have played. After Covid I will do it again. Yes, where is JC? I hope all is well. Blessings x

Evening all.
Had a lovely hike in Howth today. Me, MrJC, Sister & Rosie.
Then to the pub for lunch.

We're all fecked now - & Rosie's been sick from hoovering up BBQ chicken.

Hello Army!

Back from Norway late last night.
I had a wonderful time and it was so healing to see my daughter and all of the friends I have made over there in the past.
I will read back when I have sorted my washing out!

I've been into town a few times Mary..at the weekends as well..and it was nothing like this...it was like Christmas eve on Grafton st. And only Thurs afternoon....had to wait to even walk down the street. Mad....and not all tourists either ...
Morning all...just had lovely breakfast now off for swim etc....happy days!!

I can well imagine it Molly. Brother lives in the heart of the city and its always bustling. They dont have covid there, dont you know...

Same here Molls - LOVE my kit hen which is the same age as my sober days - NEVER had a drink in it !
And yep patience BUT watch them..... :haha:

Now that is a lovely thought, all the more reason to love it. I hope I can say the same in 20 years time.

You are right, I will be watching the builder v carefully. Made too many mistakes when we built this place, thought the builders knew best. They dont (well, not for me). This guy I know and Ive seen a lot of his work. But Im not getting him to do the kitchen, as per my neighbours recommendation (he's a great builder, but not a kitchen designer).
