Lovely mild morning but everywhere is very mucky. Had to shower off the smaller dogs when I got back from walk.

Nothing much planned for the day, going to catch up on some reading. Great news that you and young Satz are negative. Keeping everything crossed that my daughter gets back ok next week.

Joe headed off into town to buy his boots -- ALL on his own! so lovely free house here -- Max perfectly happy to loll around when I'm here alone cos I'm so boring -- nothing to get him high! accidentally started watching the Freddy Mercury movie -- omg it's brilliant -- hairs standing up on my head -- yer man is fantastic -- Rami Malek (spl?) if anyone hasn't already seen it -- it's on Netflix and I recommend it -- so much!

Right -- s'pose I'd better do a Mick on it (remember when he told us he used to move the hoover around the house to make it look like he'd done something :welldone -- laters gaters x

Greetings Army folk and its great to see people dropping in.................think I've said it before but don't be strangers.

Its just me and Mr JC and Mikey in the house today.................Mr. JC's just taken Jenny to the station. Ads Grandpa is still hanging on,bless him. :heartbeat: She was going to stay a bit longer but Ads needs her. His Dad died when he was a young one and he's all over the place.

We're still wandering around like startled rabbits at the news about the baby..............they gave us a copy of the scan. I've decided its defo a girl and I want her to be called Guinevere. The copy is on the bookcase in our bedroom and I keep going upstairs and giving her (or him......I could be wrong) and giving it a little cuddle.

[MENTION=7261]Guitarista[/MENTION]..............get the same feelings you in a way. It'll become like the flu. My left arm has no more space for vaccines.

When Mr. JC gets back from the station we're going to look at dog friendly cottages and book a holiday. And of course now he's lost all this weight I'm going to drag him to get some new clothes.

Congrats again our Molly, never doubted you would hang on to your sobriety.

Excellent idea. I have been worried about it so why put myself in all that stress. I really don't like all the behavior of people, once they have had too many drinks. I may just stay home and snuggle with my dogs. I feel much safer that way.

We are expecting a baby any day here on the farm. Our mini donkey is due anytime and in the spring, mini goats will be born. It gives me a perfect excuse to stay close to home for the next several months. Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm starting to figure out how to use this site and finding myself with others who understand is a comfort.

We are expecting a baby any day here on the farm. Our mini donkey is due anytime and in the spring, mini goats will be born. It gives me a perfect excuse to stay close to home for the next several months. Thanks for the warm welcome. Lovely day. Morning run, then met up with my clan in ardgillian (well, the non positive/close contact ones).

Im going to bed very satisfied these nights, it being Xmas, would have had guaranteed banging hangovers every morning.. Before.
Waking up with only a cup of tea on my mind is just heavenly, even if it's raining.

Thanks Ava.. and good to see you..indeed so many round here with amazing sober dates in signature..yourself included..few years back a year seemed like long term sobriety! Mind you..at this time of year a day can be an absolute triumph!

Morning lovely people, big waves to everyone. It is pretty mad seeing the city close down so early in the evening, I know I would have just continued drinking at home.

Brilliant on hitting ten years Molly. Ten years of living a life instead of the thousands of missing hours hiding in a bottle.

Congrats JC, you will be a great nana, as opposed to a great-nana, if you get my drift.

Welcome Mountain, this is a safe place full of people who have been there, some of us many times. It is not easy but so worth it, hand on heart there isn’t a single downside to embracing sobriety.

Got the house to myself. Mr. JC's gone into work (they're closed over Chrimbo and open the day after New Years Day) to give his office a tidy. I'll prolly not see him until Easter.

You are among a group of animal lovers here Mountain. Molly was a bit reluctant but I think Max has wormed his way into her heart. He’s the dog she didn’t want.

Very windy here this morning but I got my walk in with my friend and doggies. Daughter back at work today. I am not back until the 4th. It will soon be a distant memory. Not sorry to see the back of 2021.
