Morning all. [MENTION=22411]IamMary[/MENTION]. I am in this house 40 years & have not once gone up into the attic. Dark places that could harbour water tank, mice or worse scare me.
[MENTION=8529]mollyka[/MENTION] kinda bad timing ? you will be out of action for a while. Won't be able to go hareing down to the new gaff ?
I have a special chair I can loan you ? It was a Godsend when MrS had his hip done. Upright and comfortable - it really helped & he healed very quickly.
When do you expect the will move will be ? Are you selling up in the Brig lock, stock ?

Afternoon everyone

I hop up and down to the attic regularly. Himself travelled so much and was never around so if I didn’t nothing would get done.

Needs a good clean out. I’ve decided to wait and see what can go west and then dump what is left.

Have you been in pain Molly? Good to get it done and out of the way and the house in Mayo won’t go anywhere. Important thing is you have the keys. We have not been given a closing date as other solicitor is out sick. Do you have windows yet Mary? Everything is delayed with people out with Covid.

Beautiful crisp sunny day. Got my walk in before work and it looks like my job share partner will be in tomorrow so happy days.

I was absolutely flying after a week to ten days the last time so really hope it'll be the same now...thanks tho....Reckon I'll be just fine...not sure if it's bad timing...will see how it pans out..he's muttering about getting one of the boys to help out so I can sit and watch tele and eat chocolates:welldone:

We've heard nothing today so very suspicious that Covid could be delaying us as well!! I'm not too bad pain wise but as my job is very much on my feet and running up and down stairs it's beginning to really wear me down

Hello Molly, Rusters, Satzy, et al. I had an experience of hi strangeness this morning. I’m still a bit shaken. I’m on my morning run as the sun is just breaking over Bear Mountain. I see another runner up ahead (rare on this route). As I pass, I realize it’s a woman. She says, “Hi John, beautiful morning, have a great day!” Not even during what my response was. I don’t recognize her nor the voice. I pass her and for some reason after a minute or so, I turn around and no one is there. She is gone. Impossible for anyone to have disappeared that quickly from this wide open area near a lake. Impossible. It gave me the goose flesh and upset me greatly. I just can’t get her or the experience out of my head. I didn’t fricking dream it. Has anyone had an experience like this? Thoughts??

Sorry Techie I haven't experienced anything like that - creepy.
I can't really give any insight on it to be honest so I'll ask some questions :

Was she old / young ?
Did she get your name right ?
What was she wearing?
A hat ? That you thought it was a man at first ?
I may be watching too much Pandemic tv but if you really think it's something supernatural - check out local history of the area maybe ?

Thank you folks. I’m not going to make too much out of this morning. A member at my club told me there is a gal who runs that route a few times a week. We’ll why the f haven’t I seen her before? It wasn’t a man Satz ( hahaha) she spoke to me. All in all, I was a bit freaked out but looking forward to my run tomorrow. Maybe she went behind a tree. Thanks Mary. Did you say MOUSE? Yikes! Thanks x

P.S. I’ll wear my Go-Pro camera tomorrow and film her if she’s out.

Beautiful morning here, crisp and sunny. Had a lovely long walk. Car park nearly full when we got back. Half the country must be isolating as close contacts or have covid. Either way most of them are up in our local woods. Hi Army. No it’s was not the lovely Jones woman. I ran my route this morning with the beautiful Mrs Techie behind me with Go Pro as we were searching for the phantom runner. No luck. However, it was fripping cold out. Neighbors think it’s a gal named Sarah who is training for some cross country ski event on the Nevada side of the mountains. They said she usually runs another trail so this is starting to make since, and there are sone heavily forested cut throughs to main road. Have a beautiful day folks. Jones, PLEASE check in!
