Had to check a dozen times to make sure I'd spelt February correctly.

Thanks for starting us off JC. Delighted to see the start of spring, only another few weeks of walking in the dark before work.
No Molls you are recovering, it’s only been a week since the operation. We need to be kind to ourselves. You too Mary, I remember being run ragged when mine were at the stage your lot are at.
Work today and then off for the few days. Going away Saturday night, Ferrycarraig Hotel in Wexford. I booked 6 months of nights away, so glad I did, they are flying and gives me something to look forward to.

Pain eased then.
But then his leg started to hurt - but apparently that's part of it. The muscle needs to be built up in the thigh again.

If your starting to get frustrated already, it must be a good sign Molly.
So they minimise pain killers if you have low blood pressure? I didn't know that..
I've never been to that hotel, but its supposed to be fabulous Rustop. You'll probably meet Mollys sister and have a right natter :haha:Last edited by IamMary; February 1, 2022, 06:07 PM.AF - July 19th 2015 :happy2:

It's chicken and egg with the low blood pressure..think the pills could cause it to go low..anyway....yes Benjy...it is right that it gets sorer as you exercise more...I'm going out each day now for a short proper walk as well as the exercises and it feels like I'd run a marathon in the mornings and then eases out....today....dare I say it....I feel vaguely normal!!

Re: Februrary Army 2022
Morning everyone
Have enough nut cases in extended family, thank you very much. The butter would not melt in my mouth brigade are the worst imho. Always hides a nasty side.
Delighted you are improving every day Molly. Brit how are you doing? Presume YS is grand down in Waterford. It must be such a relief. Maureen Gaffney said in her book that a mother is as unhappy as her unhappiest child, very true.
Very early walk as my friend is working later. Don’t mind as long as I get out. Need to get dog food and think I’ll have a browse in Harry Corry’s, planning bedrooms down west. You know what annoys me is that if you don’t particularly like whatever colour is in vogue it is impossible to find what you want. Hate grey, always reminds me of school uniforms. Rant over!

Yes...MrsA....how you doing? Selfabsorbed.com is me.... beginning to look a wee bit outward into the world tho....
God yeah Rusters....my mad sister...she was everything to everybody .....until she wasn't...I adored her as a child.. she was like my 2nd mother...and people always seemed to be horrible to her...friends.. business partners...relations....in-laws...etc etc....until I began to notice the common denominator ...and awaited my turn....and ye gods did it come!!! When she also turned on my teenage daughter...that was the end...I pulled the plug and RAN!!!Last edited by mollyka; February 2, 2022, 05:10 AM.Contentedly sober since 27/12/2011

Re: Februrary Army 2022
Morning,
Selfabsorbed..............little by little. While Mr JC was at the boring bit of a hip replacement............one of the lads used to bring him work from the office. Although I doubt they're going to wheel in huge book cabinet for you to sort out.
I remember the first time he went for a little stroll on his own.................I was having kittens and felt like he'd been out for hours...........it was 10 minutes.
My school uniform form was navy blue...............took years before I wore it as an adult.
I've had low blood pressure all my life..................when I was in my teens I was forever fainting.............took until I was pregnant with Jenny for them to discover it. The doctors aren't bothered and it doesn't bother me in day to day life.
Jenny's coming up Saturday for the big 80th birthday party, then a baby shower on Sunday.........Ads isn't coming which is par for the course I can't remember the last time we saw him.It could be worse, I could be filing.
