Re: Februrary Army 2022

Good morning folks. Techie that is some s**t news, you know what this takes and your positivity is fantastic. There is s saying here that God never throws more on us then we can handle. We just just don’t realise how much strength we have inside. Fingers crossed on the tests.

Morning (just)
techie.......sh@t news indeed. Got to say you're really brave and you've taken this on the chin and worked it into your life around it...........I'd be still weeping into a pillow.

Party was a surprise.........don't know how we kept it quiet. My had been Aunt wondering why I hadn't rung since she came back from America................but knowing me I'd have blurted it out so I kept quiet (must be the first time in my life).

Got Jenny here so got to be quick. Haven't seen her for months.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Quick night night from me.

Hope you had lovely day with Jenny JC. Hang in there, you are in all our thoughts and prayers. Had lovely night away. Live music for the first time since lockdown. Must say I really enjoyed it.

Back to reality and early start in the morning.

Evening all.
Busy day at work.
Vege'd in front of telly with Rosie sitting on my lip ... she squeezes into the armchair beside me & ends up taking over so I'm hanging off the edge.:haha:
Started a really good drama - 'Cry Wolf'. Sub-titled - but easy to follow. Storyline & acting is brilliant. Channel 4.

In the leaba ready for zzzzzz
Just popped in to say nighty night.

Rusters of all the hotels you've been in .... know of any nice hotel in Waterford ? We'll go see YS soon - may as well make a night of it

Jesus Molls go easy on yourself - you've just had major surgery.
In your Mam's day you'd be still in hospital. Probably why a lot of them never really fully recovered in those days.

You'll soon be :hyper: lepping again.

Re: Februrary Army 2022

God that right, you would be in hospital for weeks. I remember my mam having a section with my younger brother and she was 2 weeks at least in hospital. That's 3-5 days now.
By Easter, you won't know yourself molls.

Youngest may as well have been at a covid party on Friday night, 2 of the 6 are positive. They spent the day in school together then after, a birthday until late (which meant 6 in a bed for a large proportion of that). My problem is except is middle has her mocks this week and next, so shipping her to my folks. If youngest gets it, the other 2 have to stay put for 7 days.
Drama lama..

How is YS doing Satz??
That was a great night Rustop! How refreshingly normal :happy2:

Lovely to have Jenny all to yourself JackieClaire.

Faithlegg is really really nice...stayed there a lot...medium price...if you want to push the boat out the Cliff House is sposed to be amazing...out of my budget tho!! I'm sure there's loads more Rusters might know

Morning all...I know I'm just impatient...I'm off work and my house in Mayo is sitting waiting for us to move some beds and stuff in so we can have little trips down and see what it's like...just annoying me!!

Morning,
mollyka................hang in there, pet. Mr JC was lucky that one of the staff he worked with lived near us and used to bring him a load of files to go through. Mind you I can't see them bringing you a couple of giant book cases and you have to put them in order.

IamMary.........oh Mers, pet. What a bloody nightmare...............you could strangle the little beggars. An A plus for sorting your daughter out. You've got enough going on getting your kit hen done.

Might sound daft but I'm exhausted. I'm on my own most of the time and Saturday's big party made me so fecking tired. Just too many people all talking at once.

Got a phone call from the Mr and Mrs S&H yesterday...................they know what kind they're getting.................wait for it
.

.

.

.
We're getting a grandson. :hyper:

Evening everyone

Oh lovely JC, that is wonderful. Don’t blame you for chomping at the bit Molly. Must be so frustrating not to be able to go and get your house sorted, especially as it’s ready to move into. I am inpatient and we need to totally revamp before we can stay in ours. Poor Mary, don’t envy you trying to juggle all that. Covid definitely has not gone away.

I was going to recommend both Faithleg and the Cliff house too Satz. Have not been to either of them and they are on my list.

YS is doing GREAT Mers.
100 days sober now.
Has lost a stone in weight doing what he's always loved.
Eating well, 60k cycle every saturday & gym 4 days a week.
I'm worrying now that's not the real world is it ? Ye know the daily mundane doings of work etc.

He said a lot of past 'residents' have made their homes down in Waterford & settled there happily.
