Good morning Brit and all to come.

Don’t blame you being fed up Brit, it must be so difficult. Wish we could do more, all we can do is be here if you feel like venting. Might help?

You have every reason to vent too Mary, never thought of the builders having to leave.

All I can say ladies is This too shall pass, hang in there.

Thanks for the recommendation Satz, started Cry Wolf last night, seems very good.

Beautiful morning, walk done and think I’ll go outside and start a bit of a clean up in the garden or rather our lane. Bit early but once it’s nice I just want to get out.

Morning,

IamMary................not in a million years. I'd forgotten Free.............when I grow up I'm going to marry Paul Rodgers

brit.......no wonder you're hacked off........you are going to have to get in touch with your GP again, I'm afraid. We always think the worse but it could be a simple chest infection.
I don't envy the ear syringing...........had it done a couple of times and its the weird sensation.

We just started watching Crossing Lines (staring Donald Sutherland) and I've now got Mr. JC addicted to Vikings. Its only the nth time I've watched it but I could watch it day in day out.

Might give cry wolf a look this week.
Your right Rustop, didn't mean to moan, all very temporary.

Has anyone got into wordles? We are all a bit addicted. Just 1 challenge a day.

I love getting my ears syringed. And I quite like Donald Sunderland too. But ears more.

Yeah Mers - like Wordle - straight forward - no ads - usually panic towards the end - but get it.

Evening everyone

Loved Vikings and Ragnar. Some of it was filmed around here.

Temperature has dropped again so winter is not over yet. Got to spend time outside last two days so that was nice.

fresh out there today. We had exams (in isolation) and a birthday (in isolation), then a lovely walk with youngest, who talks as quick as she walks. ill work the morning and take a half day. Too busy here.

techie and brit, and updates for you guys.

Glad to be going to bed sober, ready to tackle tomorrow instead of nursing a hangover and feeling v sorry for myself, What a waste.

Morning,
MIL's birthday today.........she'll be 97 and still with a brain sharper that a chef's knife. I used to be terrified off her and now we get on like a house on fire. I :heartbeat: her.

rustop59..............I knew that about Vikings and found out some of the outside scenes of the Tudors were filmed over your way. Wonder if they ever bumped into each other.
Always makes me smile as the beginning of Robin Hood:Prince of Thieves has a scene on the Roman wall up here and 10 seconds later they're in Nottingham which is over 250 miles away.

Going to tidy a couple of kit hen cupboards.............not sure if I can cope with the excitement.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Just popping in to say goodnight.
Back to the grindstone for 2 days tomorrow.

Glad to have a job to go to if I'm honest.
Find staying at home - just filling my day - a big bore ........ stuff needs cleaning & I can't be arsed.

Signing up for local 'meals on wheels'.

A neighbour 2 doors down died the other day - I knew her - but not very well. She was 66 died from ' her chest'.
At the mass the priest said was well travelled & she'd been to Cambodia, Russia, Vietnam doing charity work. Never knew.
I was always told she was a bit of a hypochondriac - 'cos always seemed to be something wrong with her.
Her front door was once knocked through by the police 'cos she had threatened suicide. :egad:

Anyway 66 is too young to die. The priest cracked a joke that the sales of cigarettes would take a huge hit now she was gone. People laughed - I found that very distasteful. That's like your liver packing in & it kills you & they all have a good laugh about the gin factory closing down 'cos you died. .....
