Re: Februrary Army 2022

Another day over and the dust still lurks under the bed - taunting me.
Deffo notice more dust with the Rosie one having full access to whatever bedroom she decides to languish in.

Hope you're not feeling too bad Mers

The Nursing Home - like the bloody Government - decided to go from one extreme of rigid restrictions to a free for all.
Letting visitors including kids wander in when they feel like it for the past 2 weeks.

Result : residents back in lockdown due to a Covid outbreak among residents...... FFS !!

Morning,
IamMary..........hope you're feeling okay (ish).
satz123............Its a proper buggery that your old dears won't get visits.

We've got drawers under out bed..............so I'll never find out what's under the bed. So has the single bed in the little bedroom.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Afternoon everyone

Hope all the vulnerable are ok Satz. After locking us up for two years the Government have decided to let this rip through the country, seeing as the ICU numbers have stabilised. Hope it is the right thing to do.

After waiting 6 weeks our solicitor got the paperwork for the cottage today and something not properly witnessed and something else not signed so off we go again. Would put years on you.

Oh Rusters...ours seems to be fairly straightforward..we're going down tomorrow and staying over in the house
..get an idea of what we need to do and scrub a bit of it....but Jilly is having a bit of a nightmare...everything seems to take weeks...she still hasn't the electricity reconnected...brings me back to previous moves...it's not easy for sure but look you'll be up and running soon and it'll be wonderful to have a wee bolthole...
I'm exhausted tonight just thinkin of all we've to do tomorrow!

My thoughts too!! I actually got a bollocking from my mother and sister for running (a lot) on the day I got a positive test. They were absolutely right, the quicker I get rid of this thing, the quicker I'm back out running. Instead, I could have made myself worse.. doing nothing now until I'm over this.
Same for you Molls!!
satz123, its absolutely everywhere. Nursing homes home our most vulnerable, that seems a bit wreckless..

Thanks for the dust wiki JackieClaire.. hoovering a really dusty forgotten nook is so satisfying.

Re: Februrary Army 2022

Nah I'm fine...3.5 weeks and pretty much perfectly mobile...it was the same with the other hip so not worried...the 'rules' they apply to 40 year olds and 90 year olds the same...so I'm fairly on target for my age.

Heading off now and very excited! Talk later x

Absolutely bog all going on in the JC world today apart from opening and shutting the fridge door trying to work out what we're have for dinner.

Hello folks. Happy you’re doing well, Molly. Hugs to you Mary and anyone else in need. I happen to require a steady diet of them. I have decided to go to a Vegan, I prefer Plant Based diet to meet the cancer head on. This will be a HUGE struggle as I’m a BIG fan of the bone-in ribeye. So, I’m on day three of no meat, no dairy, no sugar, etc. My happy quotient is at an all time low, haha. Off to a run with waning energy but they say this will pass. Love you. Blessings x
Outside of a dog a book is mans best friend. Inside of a dog its too dark to read

techie Calorie restriction / fasting is another way some people use to help themselves to "meet the cancer head on"
Vegan seems so harsh - dunno how anyone does it.
(At least when you are not fasting you maybe could have the ribeye

Just popping in to say good night. Good luck with the new regime Techie.

It’s all about cars this week. His got serviced today so had to drop off and pick up. Trading mine in tomorrow so had to give it a good clean today. Dogs have it destroyed so it was a big job. Exhausted now, might try and watch an episode of Sinner if I can stay awake.

I'm here. TBH I've got a bit of a tummy upset.............been in and out the loo since 8am. Feels proper gripey. Prolly the four coconut macaroons I ate last night.

techie.............quite a drastic move but if it works then all dues to you.
