Morning and waves to the undies

Got to the bus stop and went a bit further and I didn't die. I'm getting my nails done today once she's gone I'll take Mikey in the opposite way down to the little stream.

@IamMary..................perhaps bring the stopping drinking and entwine around your running.

Jersey is an oddity and it isfull of old people.................rich old people as Jersey is a tax haven so is Guernsey. I loved it...........mind you I was only 20 so anyone over 30 had one foot in the grave in my mind. The drinks weren't half cheap though.

I know for fact that even the shortest of walks / exercise makes a huge difference to our mood.
Even MrS admitted to some days the weather would be getting him down - but his walk with Rosie & yapping to other dog owners changes his mood completely.

We booked Greece in July. Will melt, but only had a small window, or loose one of the kids... flights booked but nothing planned outside of that.

1) Where in Greece are you going ?

I hope you find the lost, Satzy. I will miss you in Greece by two months. While my London/Dublin trip is still on hold, Mrs Techie and moi will be in Santorini in September. We will tour around after our event but those plans are not firm yet. A friend of Mrs. Techie wants to meet up in Athens. I’m not a fan of this idea, but I will be flexible. I will also be in France this June on a barge cruise in the Burgundy region. Hopefully we’ll be free of mask mandates by that time. Hope everyone is healing, feeling positive, and if you need a reminder, Life IS Good. Blessings x

I hope you find the lost, Satzy. I will miss you in Greece by two months. While my London/Dublin trip is still on hold, Mrs Techie and moi will be in Santorini in September. We will tour around after our event but those plans are not firm yet. A friend of Mrs. Techie wants to meet up in Athens. I’m not a fan of this idea, but I will be flexible. b) I however am also going to the Island of Kefalonia in Greece in September :yay:

We landed in Athens 2 years ago due to a storm - and I am really glad I did. Two days there - it was lovely & got to go to the Acropolis. Fascinating.
I had studied Greek architecture for a year after taking a mad notion & returning to college 5 years ago. I could well have died & never seen it but for Ryanair & a storm.

Thats good to know about Athens [MENTION=9094]satz123[/MENTION]. We fly into thessaloniki and out of Athens.
Will ferry/train/automobile in the middle and maybe land on an island or 2.
Eldest and himself are history heads and the girls want their first beach holiday (1 day will suffice) so it's going to be busy.
All places of interest in Athens would be appreciated!!
I will leave some clues for yourself and techie incase we cross the same paths :haha:

We left the S&H at home while we went on holiday. Jenny was away at University. Think it was Portugal anyhoo when we got back the house was suspiciously tidy and clean.

Did a very long walk yesterday even nipped into the paper shop. Its also a kind of over priced tiny supermarket so got Mikey some dog chews.

You are indeed very brave Mary. Hate any type of public speaking.

Snow here this morning and had a lovely walk with the doggies in it. Then had to go into work as other girls hubby is in hospital and her daughter has Covid. Don’t mind once I have had my walk and might manage to get my shopping done during my lunch hour. Have a feeling I’ll have to do tomorrow as well.

We were second in the quiz............not that bothered as the price is 4 bottles of wine. It was double that at the Christmas and we've won five times in a row. I'm so grateful I've got a heap of sobriety in my bag................back in day it wouldn't have made it past lunchtime.

I cannot begin to say how much I hate zoom. We had a family one at the beginning of the pandemic and it just a mangle of noise to me. Don't mind face timing. Done it a few times with our Jenny.

Ye know [MENTION=15758]rustop59[/MENTION] I've been thinking that up to yesterday those poor souls in Ukraine were going to work, adding bathrooms, buying too much on line (me), having workmen in it every day seems for the last 2 years (my neighbour) - then one dope decides that he'll wipe all that out. Makes you think - it could all be gone in a split second.

Could be seen two ways :
'why not enjoy everything while we can - get all the nice things we've promised ourselves.
or
'Feck the stress of all that keeping up - I'll just live simply - my house is grand (me) , I've enough clothes ( me ), I'll stop want,want want (me) '.......

Discuss : Would we go back to drinking if that was all we had & our country was at war & all around us being bombed ?
