Re: March Army 2022

Great news MrsA....can't believe anyone is still zooming..docs version of WFH...which imo having dealt with several companies now ..is a travesty...

Max loves it here...he's just as at home as...at home so to speak!...bought my bedroom furniture today I'm loving it...paint and floors first tho.

Very late one and its just a quick wave.. painting all day with 1000 interruptions.
Delighted to hear your daughters coming home for a bit brit.

Hope Satz is not pulling her hair out right now as they drag her up for the rock lobster.

Half marathon in the morning, better sleep. Night..

Made it back in one piece. I drove home 'cos the Hotel had no room left and I'd have to drive to a B&B anyway.
Home in 45 minutes .... despite a drunk beside me irritating the life out of me.
rustop59 the wedding was in Laragh and afterwards we ran into Lynams for MrS's first pint (of many) for the day.

Loads of groups of hiking women going in & out and I thought of you
Me sitting like a sap in my hat & guna ........

On our way 'home' now...like..where is home? Feel rudderless.
Jilly has Covid but she's not too sick..she's ordered chocolate doughnuts on the way home;-)

Right talk later if anyone around..fierce quiet

Morning,
mollyka.............poor Jilly. If its anything like my brother and his missus who had it at the same time .....................the worst thing was having to watch daytime TV and squabble over who's turn it was to make a cup of tea.

IamMary..............not sure if I was hypnotized. Had to do this weird this with a soft ball. I had to throw it from one hand to another and as I was doing it he just talked gently in the background. All sounds a bit hippy but in just 4 weeks he's got me from sitting on the settee scared as a mouse in a houseful of cats to getting out and about and my only worry is I might miss the bus. I :heartbeat: him.

satz123...........hope he's got a banging hangover.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

That's just brilliant Jacks.
Because you :heartbeat: him - you did what he asked :haha:
Great to know he's there in the future for all sorts of stuff ?

Ye know nearly best at this stage to get the bloody thing. Like years ago mothers sent kids out to play to catch Chickenpox - just to get it over with and get immunity.
Everyone I know has had Covid - feeling almost left out :haha:

I forgot to say he's got cerebral palsy.......a mild version, covered in tattoos but he's as sharp as a knife. Hes's also 30 years younger than me and married. He knows more about me than I do.When I came out there was a mother and young daughter waiting to go in. I hope they take away as much as I did.

We're off to the garden centre in a bit. Spring is on its way.

Just loving the gardening...next move is lifting shrubs and small trees and bringing them down to Mayo...Joe finally got his grass under control!

The only thing that I'm a little wary about is the 'Long Covid' stories :egad:
Apart from that - all I have to do is look at the over 90's in the Nursing Home who had it last 2 weeks and are now emerging like little butterflies from isolation. Hardy divils.

Yup the long Covid is a bit scary but there's no doubt in my mind that generation were a tougher crew..no washing machines..central heating..time saving appliances.. put on a jumper if you're cold..the way to go!!

Afternoon everyone

Laragh is a lovely spot but would much prefer it for hiking rather than weddings. Going on a hike down there next month. Well done on surviving the wedding and the drive home.

Poor Jilly, hope she’s ok. We have not had it yet or not that I know of. Long Covid would be my only reservation too. That’s lovely that you can take shrubs etc with you Molly, nice to have some reminders of your old home.

We went to self build exhibition over in city west today. Interesting, lots of NI companies there. Just browsed and picked up some brochures.

What stage are you at with the cottage Rusters? You've great fun ahead of you..I'm loving setting up a house as I want it..not compromising for 4 teenagers down to toddlers as I was last time!
In the bed catching up on corrie...haven't got Sky yet down there!!

Three months waiting for signatures Molly! Our solicitor got them but not witnessed properly. Vendor is in Germany but her solicitor here is a Dodo! Just composed email, been patient so far but it is running out.
