Re: March Army 2022

Evening. Lovely day. Run by the beach and dinner after a local parade in my folks. Back to painting tomorrow, but at least we have a few days run at it now.
My ‘good coat’ met the president today Borrowed by my buddy who got an invite to the Áras.. thats all my excitement, well for my clothes.

Wonder how brit got on.

How many weeks before the babys arrival JackieClaire, its before the wedding right?

Any symptoms satz123? No point testing for a few days, antigens are very slow to pick it up.

No I don't...it's only for weeks rather than months and the senior manager is a good pal of mine so I'll be working on my terms really...looking forward to seeing everyone..so except for masks..yeah happy enough...if I was retiring and not changing my life at all I'd be worried I think.

Morning all!
Doing big family lunch tomorrow so got a bit of shopping to do and house cleaning...very surface stuff tho...have lost interest in this house really...seems pointless!

Re: March Army 2022

Good morning, Molly I have fallen out with my twin years ago, not drink related but I feel safer not having anything to do with him. I never really found out why he fell out with me. I never really got on with him, he was always a bully and not popular with our siblings.

Had my tests which were inconclusive as they had to follow the protocol for a 75 year old woman on the treadmill. The chest pain I get is when I exercise (running) and as I never had it 12 months ago it has to be something. I never even got out of breath on the treadmill as I usually run 9 minute mile pace and this was set at about 15 min mile pace. I hope they take my pain seriously as I am very worried, but will push for more investigations. Fed up and feel tired of having to fight. I was so disappointed not to get a diagnosis

Morning,
brit................you must be going through the roof. Get yourself back to the GP . You 'know' your own body. Write down what you want to say and don't let them fob you off. All those years ago when I had c-diff I got snotty nosed consultant. Mr. JC wouldn't let me punch the living daylight out of him. After we told him we'd written to big wigs at the hospital and we copied it and sent it to our GP and the trustees of the hospital he nearly crapped himself. He was all over me like a rash. Although I never got a reply I take great pleasure knowing somewhere in his files is my letter.

IamMary............simple answer its sometime in June. They're giving nothing away apart from the fact its a boy.

I took Mikey for a walk or in other words he dragged me round............I'd forgotten how you get chatting to other dog people. We were out yesterday and had to un-tangle three dogs leads while us owners put the world to rights.

Off out this aftie with my SIL for a coffee.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

The standardizing of those tests really is nonsense..Joe had the same when he had his heart thingy...he's built like an ox and as strong as one..and he can walk 20k on his way to going for a walk..but like that he was treated as an almost 70 year old...anyway keep at them..Jackie's right and you deffo know your own body...be thinking of you xx

Oh families are so strange...this sister ...D...isn't a bully...but she's a martyr...craves attention and completely became the other one's (E) lapdog...and E is a bully...anyway I think I've decided to just agree to be in touch but the first sense I get of anything I'll be gone like a hot snot!!

She has a point JC. Night everyone. Frosty night and bright sunny day. Love this type of weather. Perfect for getting out and about in. Did lovely walk at 8 am again. Read a book on my BorrowBox and that was about it for the day. Oh did battle on nest of briars too. Totally confused as to what day of the week it is

Good morning everyone

It is indeed a beautiful sunny morning. Having a bit of a lie in. Just sitting here in bed reading. Any of you read Faith Hogan, Irish writer, living in the west of Ireland? Very good I’m enjoying it.

Very frustrating Brit, as the others say trust your gut instinct and keep at them until you get answers. That’s a bummer having to work bank holiday Satz. Enjoy the meal with the family Molly, waves to everyone else.

No I haven't read her...I think female Irish writers fall into two camps ...either very good or appalling...I love a good recommendation so will deffo have a go...I'm reading 56 Days at the moment..some of the borrowers that read good stuff recommended it but tbh I'm struggling...canny engage with the characters at all and couldn't care less if they all died on the next page...I've read enough of it now to finish it but.....
All the grub pre-prepared so feet up for an hour

Do you get a day off in lieu for working a bank holiday?

Its all 'new' to me.............. I'll soon get bored apart from Mikey dragging me about which has to be done. There still blades of grass that he hasn't piddled on yet, fences to sniff and although we've lived here over 33 years we got lost yesterday. All we did was cross the little bridge over the little stream and walked into a new world of rather posh houses I didn't know they even existed. The cars on the drives cost more than our house.Wasn't half pleased when we found the little bridge to go back to where the plebs live.

Got to do a supermarket sweep there's three rugby games on this aftie that Mr JC has to watch or he'll go into a big sulk.

Yeah Molls read that on hols last Sept - very lukewarm reaction from me too.
