Thanks for starting us off JC. Tell Batman and Robin to take a running jump Satz. Know they are trying to help but it’s more about them feeling good about themselves saving the day than poor YS. As an only child I find other family members butting in like that hard to take. Hopefully he will make contact when ready or that lady will contact you if she sees him. Like Brit, sending you lots of virtual hugs.

Frosty morning here but bright and sunny so had a nice walk. Saw a red squirrel which we had not seen before. They are making a come back.

Well Batman & Robin failed.:haha:
MrS took off again today and staked out the park again with poor Rosie (she's fecked with all this) .............. I went thankfully to work.

He spotted YS going into the park and brought him home.

Not sure what the feck to do with him now. I've to work tomorrow & Sunday so until I can get him to a doctor - I suppose we must allow him to drink.
No alternative.

Yes, your in a corner and I don't see what else you can do until Monday. We'll don't exactly give him permission but maybe all bets are off from Monday.
Probably good that his dad brought him home too..

That's exactly it in her case [MENTION=15758]rustop59[/MENTION] - you hit the nail on the head. I know it sounds harsh but it's true.
If they knew him at all they would know that for them to see him like that would strip him of the remainder of any dignity he has.
They are off to Cong / Clonbur today for some family get together shite. She will load up on the booze & my son will be a great topic for her. It sickens me.
Maybe I can arrange for Molls & Joe to take her out :haha:

I'm glad you've got him home and you've got a plan. I've seen an alcoholic withdrawal seizure and they are not pretty. In fact I burst into tears and it frightened the life out of me.

Delighted you have him home. The past week has been horrendous for you. One day at a time. Take care of yourself and come on and vent when you need to. Have met plenty like your SIL, even have one like her myself. After Covid tolerance completely gone for people like that.

En route west, thankfully not Clonbur. Picking up the keys of cottage and spending the night in Country House hotel. Very good to myself but sure why not.

He can come work in our wilderness for the next 10 years JC. Major, major cleanup to be done but setting is amazing and himself will have his fishing. It is very much a long term project.

How big is the site Rustop? Will you get a digger? Himself has taken down a lot of trees over the years here but we have a big one close to the house and road that we need a tree surgeon. They are NOT cheap!!

[MENTION=22411]IamMary[/MENTION]............Mr JC bought the tickets for me for Christmas. My old boss bought his wife tickets for a sing-a-long to the Sound of Music donkey's years ago and you had to dress up as one of the characters.

Himself and his garden shears have run out of things to cut down so I'll get him to nip over. One bush is flowering so I had to call a halt he can attack that bush when its finished blossoming.
