Evening everyone

Girls can be right madams and you are right Satz, they would not speak to their friends like that. The one I have living at home is much more like her Dad and we get on ok. Herself and her Dad are more likely to clash. Her sister on the other hand and myself would kill each other if living together but funny enough enjoy and are more interested in the same stuff. Probably too much alike.

Met up with some of my crochet group today and it was nice to catch up. Also got a lot done in garden.

Safe travels Molly, you might cross paths with Mary on her way back. Waves to everyone else.

Same here. One of each. YS although he's caused obvious grief in other ways - he has never been narky or critical ever. Always respectful and mild mannered.

DD is now a happily married woman & a German - so not sure how that will affect the mood
Got a text today from Venice.
As one does .... they just jumped on a train & headed down for the weekend .....

Good morning everyone

How is YS these days? Hope you are coping and looking after yourself. Isn’t it wonderful to be able to hop on a train and head to Venice, lucky lady. Sligo might not be Venice but have to say we had lovely night away and the loop I did the next day was stunning. Drumciff/Gleniff horseshoe/Benbulben Forrest trail/Mullaghmore/Glencar waterfall. Whole thing only took about 3 hours and that included 1hr 20 minute walk. Molly you are not a million miles away, there is a road trip for you and Mary would be perfect for young ones and none of it cost a penny, well apart from petrol which is a pain.

Just back from my walk in the Oak Glen, another place that is food for the soul. Need to help himself put a new bbq together, better get coffee first.

Bright and sunny here but there's a bitterly cold north wind. I've got the heating on.

Himself has just gone up to see his mum. His sister ended up taking MIL to the hospital and she's going to have the lump on her eye lasered (sp) off. Would you believe she thoroughly enjoyed her trip out and can't wait for it to be gone.

Good morning

Bit dull here but it is meant to be nice over the coming days. Was meant to be going on a long hike but it was cancelled so I went off myself early with just the lab/retriever and climbed a nearby mountain. Climbing Lugnaquilla the second highest mountain in Ireland next weekend so needed the practice.

That’s gas about your MIL JC. Plenty of life in her. Waves to everyone else.

I'm at the dentist tomorrow as I have a fear of dentist since I was about 12.............my heart has been in my mouth since Saturday. Luckily the appointment's at 9am.
