Thanks Benjy...I've had major 'conversations' with my poor dead mammy..hoping she'll speak to the main man!!! They've taken him off sedation and he seems to be managing...fingers crossed.
Bloody rotten timing alright MrsA...

Re: April Army 2020

Good morning everyone

It really is rotten timing Brit, is she home for long? Hope you are feeling ok, take care of yourself. You too Molly and Satz, hope son and grandson improving.

Absolutely beautiful here this morning. Daughter is working so I had an early start with a farrier visit. Great to be outside.

Off now with doggies for a walk, taking full advantage of it. We had hail the size of golf balls yesterday.

Re: April Army 2020

Feeling dreadful, daughter has had to go to stay with her sister as Oslo daughter is the only person who hasn't had Covid.

They are coming to visit me in the garden in a few minutes, luckily daughter is home from Norway for 3 weeks.

I am so dissapointed. but glad to have great friends and a good family and best of all sobriety!

Hopefully better news from Satz and Molly

Morning,
More mammy prayers from England. I'll have a word with my Gran as well.
brit.............I suppose you can both wear masks and stay 6 feet away from each other.

Another gallivant today we're off to see a sing-along Greatest Showman. We're going to the matinee. Its a proper family outing the only one missing is Ads as the bitch of the mother of their kids won't let his visitation days.
Jenny very rarely talks about his witch of an ex but the tiny bits of info he drops now and again...............she sounds like a nightmare............. and she was the one who he kicked Ads out so she could move her 'new' partner in.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Evening oh quiet ones...poor MrsA I'd say you were frozen to death in the garden? You feeling okay? There's 4 of us at work at home with Covid out of a staff of 9 dunno how much longer I'll avoid it!
Well our little Bobby settled into his new hospital so well he's off everything...ventilator drips drugs and incubator...he's being snuggled by his mom and dad and now we truly all can breathe...thank you for your kind thoughts...the relief is unbelievable!
How and where is everyone?

Oh that’s great news Molly, thanks for letting us know. Nothing mad or exciting here. Doing some garden/drive clean up, bit by bit. Bought a new BBQ that was our excitement for the day.

That’s lovely to hear Molly.
Waves to everyone. Not posted in a while but all is ok, still happy in my sobriety. I just felt I needed a break from being on my devices for so many hours 7 days a week. Reading the online news upon waking every morning is just so depressing so I switched it all off. Maybe I am turning into a luddite in my old age.

Good to see you Tabbers. I know, it can't be good for anyone, phones and being constantly tuned into everything. At least we were not born into it.. I battle with my kids. I won't go there.

Molly, what a relief! That was a rough few days for you all. Are they talking about letting him home soon?

Airport run this morning at 4am.. himself and son off to London.. the queues were out the door and down the side of terminal 1. Anyway, they moved quickly.
Beautiful day today. Got loads done.

Hope your not feeling too bad brit.. you can plan for nothing until your had it!

Good morning everyone

Great news about the little fella. Glad your daughter is home for the three weeks and hope you are soon feeling better Brit.

Good to see you Tabs. Think we all need to detox from the constant stream of bad news at the moment.

Saw those queues outside the airport on TV Mary. Isn’t it great to have the freedom to hop out of bed and do an airport run at 4 am with no worry of being over the limit.

Have a sore back this morning, not sure what I did to it. Have been doing a bit in the garden the last few days. Short walk, nice roast dinner and good book. Those are my plans. Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday.

mollyka...........what fantastic news to wake up to. You must all be over the moon. Wishing him health, wealth and happiness.

Tabbers (a.k.a. KTAB).............well done you.

The sing along was fab. It was great fun. We were given goodie bags when we got there....with a fluorescent candle and a wee hand that rattled when we liked something.and other bits and bobs..............that's simplifying it but it was good fun. Unfortunately Jenny fell asleep on her journey back to York. She nodded off on the train and ended up in Stevenage....(might have something to do with the couple of wines she had).....170 miles from York and a phone full of messages from Ads asking where the feck was she.The staff were fantastic and let her use her original ticket to get her home to York which was near midnight. She's got a brilliant brain ......teaches Maths, Physics and Chemistry but they seem to have missed out common sense bit.

Morning,
brit...........you must be biting your lip to get your running shoes on. Not long now you're over the hump.

mollyka........delighted for Jilly and Bobby. I know you'll find something to do. A trip to a garden centre so you can start planting for your new place perhaps.

Tabbers you're always welcome here.

Mr JC is taking his Mum to see an oncologist tomorrow. Her doctor thinks the wee growth she's got on her forehead needs looking at.............. She's 98 and frail..............sending her to see if this growth might be cancer will finish her off. I think she'd rather just ignore it..............surely they wouldn't start chemo at her age? TBH think its just her doctor ticking boxes.

I was so tired yesterday I sat for over an hour watching what looked like speedway with bumps on some unknown channel from the USA but it was on Freeview.
