Mr JC has passed all my requirements to go back to work. Went for a walk yesterday so he's been over wonkie pavements, up and down small hills and drove me to the church which has a coffee morning every week. He's in no pain ..................although Jenny's arriving some time today and she can be a right pain in the arse at times.
So he's back to work tomorrow and I get the TV handsets back.

Amen to that Satz. Sorry about what is going on with your niece, you have enough on your plate. Evening everyone else, not long back from Sligo. Lovely trip, saw places I had never been before, eg Gleniff horseshoe loop. Weather was fab, ate all around me and bought a few outfits in the place I got my going away outfit, 38 years ago. Hope that the weather has improved in Connemara Mary, wasn’t great at the weekend but it is beautiful no matter what the weather is like.

Exhausted after all the driving so going to bed early. Night all.

Jenny and Ads turned up and only spent a couple of hours. They've left Mr and Mrs S&H's wedding invite here and we'll pop it round there's sometime this week.

I am beyond tired as every time Mr JC turns over I wake up to make sure he's okay. Mikey's wandering around the looking for him at the moment.

I lost some weight recently - thinking I'd be gorgeous - but ......... now my skin is too big for me & falling into little wrinkly folds :egad:

Crazy to lose weight at our age...we need to pad out the skin..it just stays the same size...get the choccie biscuits out...like unless we're size 18 or more no one even glances at old ones...cos in this wonderful world of beauty everyone (and I do mean everyone...plastic surgery is just fake grass)over 50 is old unfortunately....so instead of striving for impossible improvements do like most do when preggers...enjoy your grub;-)

The simmering row with jilly and Joe has overflowed onto me...she stormed out of the house today without saying goodbye after I supported Joe in gently reminding her she has half our house full of her shit...d'ya know...I'm not even sad...I'm raging...3 months she's had her house...apparently the boys left all their junk all over the house....like....no ..they didn't...aaarrrggghhh could smack her one at the moment!

Joe is down painting in Mayo since yesterday and I'll join him after work tomorrow...looking forward to escaping the feckin drama!!

Evening everyone

All well here. Do you think our generation had the same feeling of entitlement as this one has? Although I think each generation has had to deal with sprogs leaving behind belongings in the family home and leaving them there for years. My MIL had books and other stuff belonging to my BIL for years.

Don’t recommend eating too many bickies to pad out Satz. I have been doing that for the last few months and believe me it was not a good look in the dressing room mirrors during the week.

Got my hair done today and hope to catch up with some work in the garden this weekend. Weather was fabulous today.

I badly need my hair done Rusters but I'm trying to grow it out a bit...fed up with it so short...oh that sense of entitlement....no way did previous generations have it imo...yes there was the occasional spoilt one....but I think it's different because we were brought up in the 70's 80's 90's..and lets face it ..we were a poor enough little nation..but now there seems to be loads of money and stuff and parents no longer have to struggle like they did back then...that's what I think....AND of course social media...puts 'keeping up with the Jones's' in the halfpenny place!..Joe was just on phone from Mayo..sun splitting trees all day apparently...its all ahead of us Rusters!! Well done MrJC...tell him to get the 2nd one done..I've not been this flexible for years!!

Reading that I'd help you smack her Molls.
They wouldn't DREAM of talking to or treating their friends the way they do us.
The child / parent relationship has past imo.
They are grown adults being rude to other adults. End of. aaarrrrrggghhhh !
