My good news is that of this morning we have an electric shower in the cottage. This is major! Think I’ll make a midweek trip down to check it out.

Now Benjy...calm down ....or as my kids say to TOTALLY infuriate me.....relax ;-) don't forget folks can have full days too! And/or (as in my case) POX all Internet till I come to bed!
Had a lovely day today with jilly and Tilly...up to Tourmakeady waterfall...Tilly enchanted by the forest and the river..we went swimming under the waterfall...pure magic...then Joe got us lost and we ended up god knows where in a lovely pub grub place....a special day! Tilly went to bed with one of my cookbooks..she's ordering up cakes for her next visit ;-)
How's everyone...truly get the excitement of the electric shower Rusters...delighted for you...sounds like the cottage is flying along!

thank god it's at least light when i have to get up at 445!! really too early..

Molly, that sounds like such a nice day! swimming under waterfalls! are Tilly and Jilly your daughters?

how's everyone doing? it was a slow day yesterday, Satz, seems everywhere on the boards!

God that day sounds FAB - I'm jealous as feck ! I'm stuck here with an alko, drunk-again son & grumpy husband.
Keep an eye out for a house for me up there

I'd love a clean break. but apparently MrS not keen - says he would miss his little network of friends he's built up since retiring.
Understandable - but he'd strike up a conversation with Jack the Ripper - so could make new buddies anywhere.

Morning all....my girls are heading home today so will be quiet for a while....but that's okay! Might garden centre today...have a new bed to dig out.
So sorry to hear young fella back on the grog....jeez...a bit like yourself I spose I keep thinking...'this might be his time'. Such a poxy mess...don't blame you feeling you'd like to run away....it WILL sort out...it has to.

Sorry Elsie...didn't see your post there! Jilly is my daughter and Tilly (Matilda) is her daughter...jilly is a single mum...slightly troubled past ...she lived in a little apt. we made out of our garage for a few years but she has since got her permanent job and bought a house herself (which is no mean feat in Ireland today!) so we are very proud of her...she's a happy girl with an adorable little'un!
There are slow days for no reason on the boards alright but Sunday is often very slow

Sorry to hear about YS, on the plus side last weeks proposition can now be firmly put to sleep. All we can do is be here for you and hope and pray that something eventually sticks.

Love Lough Cara, crystal clear water. Mayo is a big county. We are nearly an hour away from there on Lough Conn. No wonder people are moving with the price of houses and depending on where you are if internet is good you can work remotely.

At work today, just on my lunch break. Heading west tomorrow.

Greetings from a lovely, warm but not hot, hot Athens - 32C at the moment!! I think the Mary-wan is due to land in this sunny land within the next few days. Supposed to meet up. Very excited!!!

Back from a lovely day in Howth.
MrS, me & Rosie.
Rosie had a ball on Burrow Beach - chasing anything & everything.
Then we tended to my father's grave 'cos my mother said she will haunt me if I don't keep it nice for her :haha:
And then to The Summit for Chicken wings, Scampi & Chips .... yum.

One of the good days that we've been missing 'cos we didn't want to leave YS on his own to give in to temptation.
Realised over the weekend .... he doesn't care - he'll brazen it out .... and drink anyway ........ so feck that.
Left him to his own devices - not babysitting any more.

He could be in his room - or not - I don't care.
