What about an apartment? Something smaller is bound to come up, a house swap with cash? At least you'd have a few quid to spend on yourselves for the next few years.
Have you ever though about holiday house swaps? It's becoming really popular.
My folks moved after nearly 40 years and never looked back. Same as Molls..
Would you try renting for a year? Your house would cover your rent and then some..
