We are receiving bad news after bad news while our young men and women are dying for a war that is a farce from the beginning. I feel absolutely helpless regarding this administratin. George Bush is now in the 26% approval ratings. I want to rage against our Congressmen and Senators. The Congressmen we elected have done so little, and I don't want to see another death from our brave troops due to Bush arrogance and D. Cheney's paranoid ways.

I have to admit it is all too depressing and I tend to tune the whole thing out although CNN is on, or FOX is on, 24 x 7. I am glad you are here and make it a reminder. I do pray all our troops come home safely. I remember one post you had that I will not even repeat because it was so upsetting to me. My heart does break for you and I cannot wait until your boy is back in your loving arms.

But we all have one thing in common with him...it seems that he's really done well AF. We talk on this board about telling people, etc., and he makes no secret of being an alcoholic -- much as I don't like him, I'll give him credit on that.

Yes......credit is due for that.
I think in another time in history, he would have been viewed very differently.
In the book "A Man Of Faith", there are many "coming clean" stories of his life.
It is an interesting read.
