True NS....and probably a self perpetuating problem as well...when there's so few of us ...if one or 2 don't feel like posting ...the rest see no posts and click away....can't see a solution....but from my end this is the same as the last one...I just work around the issue

Hi all. Yes, something is just not right. It is generally better, but still buggy!!!

BTW, I post regularly on Cowboy’s thread and do not experience these issues. I find that extremely unusual !

There are issues with posting delays and missing content. Are you aware of these and if so, can we expect a fix anytime soon?

Honeys I'm home..

Sorry to read about everything your going through Molly, you've had a rough few weeks and I'm sure your both still grieving. Poor Joe. And you too. I remember when you got max at first, he's definitely grown on you over the years, you were great pals

Sister on her way back from Corfu tonight, they reckon they'd have been evacuated in a day or so anyway, theres ash all over the place, but planes are still flying and people still arriving. It must be devastating for people who live there.

I've decided, as I do every year, I do not like the heat. We did a few stops in Italy and France and ended up in Antibes. What a georgous city! Ticked all my boxes, but it was irish prices. Italy better value. Food amazing and their icecream.. omg. But temps reached 36 on the last 2 days, so v v hot.

Great advice satz123 for my DD (meant to say eldest daughter, son doesn't drink- so far anyway, not innocent however, he smokes weed).

It's great to be home to normal weather.

Threads still here. Will we move it like everyone says. Make it more visible and less glitchy?
Last ditch effort before we give up. We can start in August. Thoughts??

Welcome back Mary...I agree bout that mad heat...it's not nice...give me a nice sunny 25? and I'm happy out!

Was in Antibes many many moons ago...lovely part of the world...much nicer than Cannes or St Tropez ...but preferred rural France tbh...

This IS another thread but presents the same to me...seems others have different problems with it tho....very confusing...

Hi folks. Busy day here with appointments. Hoping the quirky problems with the threads resolve. I really don’t want to go elsewhere as I tend to be change resistant. Have a great rest of your day!.

Re: Happy Army July 2.0

Morning all,

Satz thats a good idea. IF it is done for the right reasons. By that I mean that there has to be a total acceptance that Max and everything he stood for cannot and will not be replaced and that the adopter is open to a new life with different personality and needs entering theirs. When we lost our first dog suddenly, we were adamant that we wouldn't get another. But the house was so empty and so were we. No walks, no routine for caring for another, no enthusiastic greeting, no big lump on the bed and no joyful reunion when we returned from shopping. We lasted a week before we were waiting outside the rescue centre to bring another boy home. You are also right that rescues are bursting at the seems from lockdown dogs that are no longer wanted and unscrupulous breeders that keep bringing more puppies into the world.

Mental week at work, getting more and more ready to retire!

I am trying intermittent fasting to shift a bit of timber. Not massively overweight but definitely feel like I could lose a bit. Loving the extra energy from only eating twice a day and long periods without food. The benefits are insane too. Cell replacement, gut health, improved metabolism, glucose control. Being a menopausal woman it is definitely harder to stay on the lean side for me but this I think I can live with comfortably and still have the big meals that I enjoy. The thought of eating smaller portions doesnt sit well with me and when I eat I like to feel full and diets dont give me that. Hunger goes down if you dont eat. Who knew? :haha:

Good morning

So frustrating, can see Starty posted earlier but cannot see post. Impossible to have any interaction when this is going on.

Know from experience that it can take time before you are ready for another fur baby but when the opportunity arises go for it.

Glad you had a nice holiday Mary. Not a fan of extreme heat, 25 would be my limit.

Doing horsey stuff these days and finishing off a baby blanket for one of the girls at work. Reception closed. Girl I job share with moving to another department and I will do my two days as HR admin. On the road to retirement and for two days it won?t kill me, even if I don?t have much respect for my manager.

I couldn't get on last night, just wouldn't refresh the screen when I put my details in.

Had a 4.30am airport drop this morning. Middle daughter and her friend. I think they pulled an all nighter, seemed very awake when i went to call them. They had a string pulled and travelled business class.. well I think they laughed for the entire flight
starty, I love that your doing the intermittent fasting. I'm the same, bmi is fine, but tummy carries it all (menopause). I decided to not eat after 7 and not before 10. Its just not the same as 5:2 though.

Watching the clock tick by slowly, I'm rubbish without sleep!
