Good day Techie. We aren't long for Florida, I'm afraid. Long story, but we will be moving north in the next year or two. I didn't know there was a certification available with EFT! Interesting. I'll check out Dawson Church. Got a bad headache, so I'm off to nap.

Hiya techie how are you today then?hope all is good with you. How is your friend that you carried on the hike. I remember dong a long one and hurt my leg there was me and a friend. I ended up putting a stone in my other boot to take my mind off it..guess what..it worked .anyways have a good day friend.

Good day all. Got a sick kitty in the hospital. Why is it that everyone gets sick on the weekends? Had to go to the emergency vet at midnight, got home around 3ish, and up at 7 to answer the vet's phone call. Firing on one brain cell today. My mother in law is in the hospital too. Poor lady is 88 and not doing too well. She's like a cat with 9 lives; every time we think she's down she comes back. Let's hope she's got another one in her.

Hiya Techie and Mick! Techie, what's this I hear about you slinging men over your shoulder? That must have been some hike.

It seems you have a full plate, Fly. I hope things ease up for you. Prayers for MI. It was a difficult hike. All of us are ex military. We take injuries very seriously especially in tough circumstances like the terrain on this very difficult hike. We have another planned mid November and hopefully we will get ahead of any snowfall.

Still missing the regular Arny folk but feel blessed that you and Mick check in. I will keep this thread alive. I’m determined to do that.

Quick check in to say kitty is having surgery tomorrow. My poor girl. Mother in law isn't doing too well either. I'm off to bed. Worn out today.

My kitty made it through her surgery and will come home tomorrow, barring any complications. Mother in law is still about the same. I had to get new tires on my car this morning and so some shopping. Now off to do some cooking and puttering, etc. Good day all!

Good morning Techie.

How long is a long run? Running is something I've never been able to do. I've tried the Couch to 5k a couple times and just keep repeating week 2 or 3.

How old is your puppy? Is it a particular breed or mixed? I've had cats for so long but I love the idea of a dog that I could take out hiking with me.

My cat had a bad night, peed out blood and is back at the hospital. My mother in law isn't doing well. Things stink sometimes but I know this will all pass one way or another and the world will keep on moving.

Hello Army,

Just brought Miss Kitty home from the hospital. She's teetering around the house, wobbly from her pain meds. I hope this was the last trip to the hospital for her. Mother in law is still up and down. Hubby blew his back out and can barely walk. I think all the stress is getting to him. But on we go.

Morning Techie, when is the reunion? Hope all is well with you.

We made it through the night with miss kitty sleeping by my side. I had to get up every couple of hours to give her medicine. But she did manage to use the litter box and eat and drink a bit. The pills make her really tired and wobbly. She's resting now.

My mother in law seemed to improve a bit yesterday afternoon and evening. We'll see how things are today since she's been up and down.

Hubby got some steroids to help his back and seems to be feeling better.

Glad to have you back Techie. I hope you had a nice time at the reunion. The fall weather is very welcome from my usual sweltering temperatures.

Things seem to be slowly returning to a less stressful state around here. Not quite there yet, but things are getting better. My poor little kitty is wandering around wearing a full bodysuit and she is none too impressed. Pissed off I might add. But it's either that or wear the cone of shame. Another week of this.
