    vitamins, supplements and topa oh my!

    hello all
    I have been doing quite well (I thought) on the supps. I have YET to get the topa - doctor still 'researching' it (she is very cautious). So far I have been doing - 3000 mg of L-Glut and about 1800mg kudzu. I have ordered the allone, the GABBA and the amino acids.
    Last night, I drank too much red wine and dont feel so hot today. I was going to go for abs but slipped.
    Can I get some advice on something? Does the allone/amino acids really make a huge difference? I am terrifed that I wont be able to get the topa anytime soon and that the supps wont work. Can I get some advice?
    PLEASE HELP!

    Hey Jen,

    Good for you for staying focused about your nutrition plan. I don't know about the Aminos yet. Mine should arrive any day now. But those articles cv posted about brain and nutrition convinced me to get them.

    As far as the All One Powder... Lemme put it this way... At only day 16 of taking it... I could be it's national spokes person! I noticed a difference IMMEDIATELY! Then again, I'm taking ALL the supplements suggested by MWO, so it's problly the combination that really works congruently. That includes, lessened cravings and anxiety along with a general sense of feeling... Well, the expression used on the June Abs Board seems to be... Feeling LEVEL!

      Jen, are you listening to the CD's? I think they will make a big impact along with the L-glut and kudzu. I hope you get the topa soon, it will be the difference to lift you over the top. Some people can do it without the Topa, but for me it was the end of my nightmare. Have you thought about going to another Dr.?

        Dear Jen,

        I did the whole program rather half _ _ _ backwards for the first three weeks! I only took the supps and since I hated the taste of the all in one didn't bother with it. Then downloaded the book and realized All in One is a huge part of it. Also that the CDs ranked up there. I don't really have body cravings as much as I have a mental cravings and if I listen to the CDs I just don't even want to drink. If I leave them aside and get sloppy about my doses I can go overboard quite easily. alcohol looks great then!

        I am not taking topa and decided I would not if I can hold my own over the next few months as is. I think it is learning different coping skills and being aware of your triggers and thoughts. I love the kudzu and Lglut. The days I decide to be AF I take one each in the evening after work. Top them off with a CD and I feel good to go.

          Dear Jen,

          All I can say is that one lousy day doesn't make you a failure at this venture. Keep plugging away at it. You did a great job to get on the boards here and ask for help--exactly what you should have done, and you have gotten some great advice! All the best, Jen!
