So here's the short version.

Do not take this stuff in an uncontrolled environment! Buying it on the Internet and taking it on a weekend by yourself is a very bad idea. You could have a very unpleasant and potentially dangerous experience, it is a powerful sacred plant that can have very dramatic psychological effects... This can be very positive and life changing in a controlled environment with proper supervision, but it's not something that you should treat lightly.

This stuff sounds fascinating. Like it's 20 years of hardcore 12 stepping/navel gazing rolled into a 48 hour mind bend. I agree you probably wouldn't want to try this at home, having someone around who knew the story sounds like a must to me.

I'm Seriously thinking about trying this... Been doing a lot of research found a provider in south America ... I even got sign off from my wife... Not sure if she thinks I'm serious... But it's cool that we can talk about it. I spoke with the provider and I need to do a complete physical includinding EKG before they will give me the green light ... I have procrastinating for a couple of weeks now... I really think this is the path for me though. Any thoughts or experiencieces would be appreciated.

WOW! The information on ibogaine is amazing, facinating, and promising! I can't believe after researching addiction resolution for the last five years, I have never come across this until now. Especially since tons of information is so available on the internet. Thank you Anne1232 for bringing it to our attention.

this is very interesting stuff.
its a shame everything in life comes down to money.
there seems to be no profit in changing the classification of this stuff in the us.
imagine if people stoped buying legal addictive items overnight, al, tabaco, etc. it would be GFCX1000(team america type refrence...lol)

Ibogaine is an interesting subject, I was looking in to it a few years a go for alcohol addiction.. There is a film on the net by the BBC which followed a guy who was a heroin addict.. The guy who did the treatment I believe was based in London & did have a website.. Sadly I don't think he is practicing anymore. Still I find it fascinating & there is lots of info on the net.
