    Rhodiola Rosea

Has anyone tried this? I am reading, too much, I think on this St Johns Wort site. I got so excited about RR that I ran out and bought some (paid retail!) Maybe SJW flattens out my mood like SSRIs used to.
I feel much better since taking 5htp and SJW, but I am intrigued and wonder if I could feel even better.
I have to feel good, I am single parent and currently have a lot of stresses.
From what I have read, SAMe is good for repairing the brain from alcohol depression, so maybe that's why it didn't help me, because I have had problems since toddlerhood. Seriously!
Anyway, I thought I would mention this stuff.

I have a bottle but I'm not taking it regularly, the pills are large which I don't like....but I bought time released so maybe that's why.

Wow, I never heard of it (strange, since I live in the middled of its growth region). I looked it up and it sounds great.

Beeatle, Just be careful with mania, it is contraindicated for people in "excited states".

Oh thank you My Heart. Good point. I'm perpetually in an excited state if I don't self medicate (which I still do, but not with alcohol-- now it's all natural, non-addictive stuff, like lithium orotate, melatonin, valerian, calms forte, GABA... good gawd!).
