    kudzu?

I certainly don't know the specifics, but I can tell you.....it works GREAT! That and L-glut have been a god sent. I ran out of Topa and without those.....well I'm not sure.
:flower: I'm not as good as I'm gonna get, but I'm better than I used to be.

      kudzu?

I just started taking Kudzu this week, and it has totally changed my habits. I am usually not able to stop drinking, or moderate, once I start, and since I've been taking the Kudzu I not only am more ambilvalent to wanting a drink, but I have found I can limit the drinks.
      I would suggest trying it!

        kudzu?

        tmh -

Hi - read your other post - so sorry about it all

I have been drinking way too much way too long.

Kudzu by itself didn't' do it alone for me.

L-Glutamine, when added, helped (slowed me drinking)

Added B-50 complex and Magnesium on the same day, and could STOP drinking, don't know which one did it, many say niacin (B-Vitamin) is deficient in alcoholics, and fixing that helps.

Both B-50 and Mag are cheap and local (in the supermarket) for me.

I get Kudzu and L-Glut from this site.

Hope it helps or gives food or supps?) for thought -

        All the best -

          kudzu?

I think I got Kudzu down. It took me six weeks.

The first month I took 3 Kudzu a day, from a local herb store. I had to pack the gel caps.

My "feel" for kudzu is that it mediates both in the mid-brain, keeping AL from impressing it as much, and also in the forebrain allowing logic to function better. So it give better control, and also eliminates some of the "buzz" from overdoing.

It won't fix anything. The fix comes from not drinking. But it does help moderate the symptoms.

My current dosing is 2 pills 3 times a day. I like it, because for me there appears to be no other side effects.

              kudzu?

              Startingover,
What is lglut, what does it do differently or in addition to the Kudzu that is better? Is it an herb suppl just like Kudzu?
              Thanks for any input!

                kudzu?

Also, to any of you, who all seem to know a lot more than me about Kudzo, etc., is what you're saying is that you still have the "craving" to drink, but this just helps regulate it more?
Again, any and all help or advice is really appreciated. I really, so far, think I like Kudzu, but also trying to learn more as well!
                Thanks!

                  kudzu?

Kudzu helps me moderate a lot, but its effect seems to wear off after a few days. What it does is to make you less enthusiastic about drinking (does that make sense?). I need 3 capsules mid-morn and 3 mid-afternoon. If I still drink a lot (despite less craving), I will get a worse hangover than without the kudzu.

The best thing is to stop drinking altogether (another Nobel prize for me now, ok?).

L-glut does nothing for me in terms of cravings, but I believe it is very good for you so I take it everyday.

Try 1 True Calm PLUS 1 GABA (750mg) PLUS 1 VitC PLUS one B-50-- take them altogether on an empty stomach-- when I do this, I feel great and buzzed and high-energy for a long time and do not want to drink at all.

                  But Kudzu is good, too.

                    kudzu?

:new: Does anyone know what the correct kudzu dosage is? I bought some at the local vitamin store and the reccomendation is 2 caps 3x per day. The caps are 613 mg each. So that's what I started on. I have since learned that another member takes the same # of caps per day but their caps are 100 mg each. That is a huge difference! And I have had some unpleasant side effects. I am an average size (height and weight) female. Am I taking too much?!!

                      kudzu?

Does anyone use another brand of kudzu?

I was wondering if anyone is using a brand of Kudzu other than the one sold on the MWO website? That's the one I'm currently using, and I like it, but it's getting close to time that I need to reorder, and I'm looking to save a few bucks without compromising quality, if that's at all possible. I saw a brand that Vitamin Shoppe sells called Planetary Formulations, that actually comes in 750mg tablets. I'm considering giving it a try, I just don't want to waste money on a sub-par product.

                      Thanks!

                        kudzu?

I would be careful about switching on the Kudzu, especially. I believe the MWO stuff is pretty top notch. You can probably save on other vitamins, though.

                          kudzu?

So what is the recommended dosage of the kudzu sold through the web site (how many / how often / and the mgs)?

I'm probably going to eventually order that from the web site but in the meantime I have what I have and need to know if I'm taking too much.

                            kudzu?

I am in the UK and have taken kudzu 500mg x 2 Tablets once a day from a reputable shop called Holland and Barrat and that is the recommended dose. It helps me at times of parties etc I take it for a week before event is happening ... It has worked well for me and placebos never work for me, so I believe that it is of good quality and efficacy. Good Luck

I take Nature's Way Kudzu - 613 mg, 2 tablets 3x/day, and it works very well for me.
I buy it at one of the organic food stores here.
