Gaba and heart palpitations
I don't know anything about gaba, but I do know that everyone who drinks (and 2/3s of nondrinking adults) are deficient in magnesium. One of the very first symtoms of a Mg shortage is heart palpitations; get some in a liquid foorm. If it causes loose poop, then rub it into your skin. It can't hurt you: only help. Best wishes, gelgit (an admitted magnesium addict):H

Gaba and heart palpitations
Trix, I had to cut back on my original GABA dose because I had weird sensations in my throat and hands. I'd say, what you are experiencing may be your body telling you that you don't need as much anymore.
And for what gelgit is saying, I have recently discovered magnesium. I use a powdered form called Natural Calm. The makers suggest using a smaller amount to begin with so you don't have loose poop. I use it for muscle tension, and general relaxation. And I do remember reading that it can help with a heart disorder I have that can sometimes cause heart palpitations.FINALLY -- I'm a non-drinker!!
