If you have time this is worth a read..... I am concerned with the health of my brain or what?s left of it. I also try to absolutely avoid HFCS. Here is another reason to avoid this nasty sweetener.

I finally got around to reading these links based on your recent mention in one of the AF Daily threads. YIKES. I'm glad I gave up HFCS along with table sugar. You are right - this is yet another important reason to avoid HFCS containing foods.

I especially worry about Mr. Doggy who has not given up the sweets and processed foods to the degree I have. Coke/Pepsi is his biggest bugaboo. I will make sure he sees this information.

If he HAS to drink that horrible stuff, they sell kosher Coke, and that is made with real sugar, I have heard. Which may be better than HFCS.

You know this really made me angry. The people who can least afford better foods are the those getting screwed the most. Cheep, starchy, sugary, hyd oil laden diet is what they can afford. Their children are slipping futher and further down the curve, getting fatter and fatter. I'm sure the Merc is the last thing they need to be exposed to. ARGH
