Kudzu Question
I have a question regarding Kudzu. I have the supplements and have read plenty about their success with decreasing cravings. My question is this: If you are abstinent most of the time, but know you'll possibly go out on occasion and want a few drinks, do you just take the Kudzu prior to that time, or do you need to take it daily in order for it's effectiveness to build up over time. Thanks for any input.Sometimes what you're most afraid of doing is the very thing that will set you free.Tags: None

Kudzu Question
I don't think you have to take it all the time. I've taken it as soon as I have a craving and a bit later (1/2 to 1 hour later) I notice the craving has either ceased or diminished. If I my craving is pretty serious, I'll take two (but I have "Nature's Herbs" Kudzu, not Kudzu Rescue).
I've seen a thread that L-glutamine is also good for cravings. Also, with it you take it the day of (or time of) a craving. Looks like about 1,000 mg of L-glutamine is the approximate dosage.
I'm not sure if this is how it works for everyone, just for me.
Hope this helps!

Kudzu Question
I take it the day of not prior too. I also recommend L-Glutamine and Chaser. Chaser is sold as a hangover preventer but it also reduces cravings and the vicous cycle of cure a hangover with hair of the dog.......I don't want on that merry go round!Patience has its limits. Take it too far, and it's cowardice.

Kudzu Question
Some people say you should take the kudzu regularly as a preventive. However, for me, I have found it to work better in the way you suggest in the first question.
If you know you will be tempted to drink on a specific occasion, but don't want to go overboard, take 3 kudzu in the morning, and then 3 kudzu an hour or so before the event.
For me, this takes away the desperate need/compulsion that follows the first, the second and the third drink. I actually find myself forgetting about drinking in these cases. But long-term, kudzu's effects seem to wear off on me.
Remember, though, everyone is different.Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
