it just started this morning - I thought I would wait a few days before going to a doctor, if I do...do you think that is safe? I just got some Naphcon A eyedrops at the drugstore.

Lila, my experience is that it gets worse pretty quick. Will it be more expensive if you go to a doc on a weekend? Here in US it is a lot more $. I don't know about the eye drops. Can you call the pharmacist? Are you sure it's not a sty?

thanks you all - my doctor phoned in a prescription on Friday - I didn't even have to see him in person. Still a bit red looking but much better!
