    Milk Thistle - pills or liquid?

    I've been reading a lot about milk thistle lately .. but I can only find the pill form.

    For those of you taking it, do you use pills or liquid? Does it make a difference?

    I didn't know it was avaliable in liquid form -- I took the pills.

          I found it in tea form with lemon and lime flower. Think it's made by Twinings.

            I didn't know it came in any other form other than capsules...thanks for the tea suggestion, vlad, I'm always looking for more tea ideas.

              Milk Thistle also comes in a tincture . You can buy it at a natural food store in their supplement dept if they have one. It is suspended in alcohol so if you are not using AL ...IT ALSO HAS SOME OTHER LIQUID THEY SUSPEND IT IN just speak with the clerk and they can help you.:h

                  LISTEN! I said it can be suspended in alcohol: BUT - you can purchase it without the alcohol. It is in another liquid, it just is more fragile, not as long of a storage time.:happyheart::happyheart::happyheart:

                    Apparently everything is better when taken in liquid form (preferably sublingual). But if you can't find it or don't want the alcohol which almost always accompanies the liquid forms, you can take the capsules. I believe they are better taken on an empty stomach.

                      I am taking Milk Thistle in Herbal Chewing Gums. Bought it online.The company is calle Herb or something.
                      After chewing 2-3 a day for month my liver tests improved.
