Hello,

I have a question, isn't kudzu that stuff that grows all over the place in the southern US? I have it in my yard, I looked on line and it is edible and you can make tea out of the leaves and roots.
I usually don't try stuff like this but I'm thinking about it.
If it's free its for me, right?
Am I crazy

research it well...sometimes the way an herb is prepared can affect its strength and even toxicity.

Thanks for all of the info, I think I'll Try some of the ideas. Except that is for the kudzu wine I saw on one site I googled I'll be stayin' away from that one.lol

BTW I think I read the kudzu extract in the pills comes from the root. In my experimenting, I've found the effect of the pills varies a lot by brand. MWO is the most effective at the recommended dose. I'm not sure how you would equate that to fresh or dried root, and I expect the root itself may vary in quality from region to region.
