    water

I've banged the drum before, but it's worth another bang or two and a look. I tend towards alt med but this isn't even that. This is water. Plain and simple. And how this guy's research was shunned and buried. But he's not coming frorm a political, lobbyist nasty standpoint. He's just reaching out to educate us. Gee promopting water? What would he have to gain? It's also published under "you're not sick you're thirsty. Well political from how they burried it, but no other agenda.

      Thanks for the link Greenie.
I was reading the other day that in order to really benefit from drinking 8 glasses of water a day you must drink them slowly -- this is a big issue for me as I tend to glug them down as and when I remember them.

Spacing would be nice I suppose, better than a half gallon just in a couple sittings. but I've been know to do that. I have also read, perhaps not in this book, that when you are thirsty and have limited supply (this would happen to me when I would get lost on hikes in the woods with the dog and have to share) that you should drink all at once and not space sips. Glug what you have and your body makes better use. Just what I read, but it does make sense to me. It's like you have to eat to loose weight. Your body senses deprivation modes and reacts accordingly. So that sort of makes sense in that sips would still be like deprivation. Anyhow.. it's a good read. Kidna small and to the point which works for me little green bean brain. So deebs. the idea is to keep a level of hydration. You can set a timer to go off every hour and you drink a glass.

              water

              Hi, Greenie -

Thanks for this post. I usually drink lots of coffee all day, and tried substituting water in the afternoon yesterday (interestingly, I couldn't get enough of it). I'm always interested in simpler, natural remedies whenever possible, and knew this definitely couldn't hurt. So often we throw our bodies out of whack just by what we eat or drink (or don't). Little things can make a big difference, so I do appreciate reminders like this one.

DeeBee, I also kicked my L-glute up a little after reading your post on that (guess I should reply there). Thanks for the valuable info guys, every little bit helps.

              Much love!

Being in the land of sweat n all, I'm very aware of how much water I drink, but find if say I'm exercising outdoors (or actually just being outdoors) I need to make sure I replace the salts I lost as well or else I get terrible muscle cramps.
