    Colonic Irrigation

    Panno,

Glad you haven't lost your wonderful sense of humor. How many rolls of toilet paper do you have left? Lemme guess.....um, 3! Is it true that you can actually see food you ate 5 years ago? Are you feeling any better today? I went online and found this video from the UK on colonics and I can't believe the patient was smiling through the procedure. I wouldn't have been smiling and damned if I would go on TV while getting one. You sure are brave.

Today is my turn. Stayed tuned.

Spuddle....The same thing happened to be when I took Campral. I couldn't stand it....I last 3 days and switched to NAL. I have no idea how Campral affects the nutrients in your body so I'm no help to you...sorry.

      Panno,

You're still having to run to the toilet??????? How long has it been....about 16 hours since you had the procedure? Gosh I feel badly for you.

Ugh....that sounds awful....Hmmm.....what to do....I don't suppose you have any BAC at home...because it's a muscle relaxant and maybe it would help with the rumblings....volcanic or otherwise (heh, heh).

Regarding the piles: when I was doing my research on colonics (someone suggested it to me, too), it did say if you have active piles, you don't want the colonic because it totally aggravates them.

Great to hear about the weight loss, though.

The bioflavinoid rutin will fix those piles up. It's really good for varicose veins too. Which makes perfect sense.

Start by doing what's necessary, then what's possible and suddenly you are doing the impossible.

Lot's of good suggestions. Something else to consider as the normal function is call "regularity".

For me eating at consistent times during the day, and not ignoring the urge (along with good high-fiber diet). It's important enough to plan your life around being able to go to the loo when you have the urge.

I've had surgery 12 years ago because of the pressure build-up (diverticular disease lead to infection=diverticulitis, recurring often enough lead to diverticulitis with perforation=colon re-section = surgery).
