I upped my dose to 10mg in the evenings. Again, not really feeling any different except more prematurely tired. I haven't been drinking.

lithium orotate again.
There seems to be a lot of interest in this supplement so I googled around and found a site, hbcprotocols.com, that seems to have a lot of unique products for alcoholism, including a nasal inhaled lithium orotate product called Symmetry. The website claims the product gets to the bloodstream more qucikly and that a greater percentage of the lithium orotate is absorbed. There are other products too, some of which I've seen before and many which I have not.
I've never ordered from this company before (just found it) nor have I taken any kind of lithium orotate product, but this site seemed unique to me. Someone else may have mentioned this company, but I'm not aware.

lithium orotate again.
Lithium Orotate is a life changing supplement.
Taking a small supplement of the mineral Lithium as Orotate is very effective. 10-20 mg a day of elemental lithium orotate is considered a safe dosage. If the bottle says 125 mg of Lithium orotate, it means about 10 mg of elemental lithium according to my naturopathic doctor. A little research will tell you the same.
As it was explained to me, it is simply a mineral deficiency. Lithium is a mineral just as Chromium, Magnesium, Calcium is. Not exactly the same, but a mineral none the less.
It has SUBSTANTIALLY reduced my lifelong issues with anxiety, anger, impulsivity etc.
If you simply look up reviews on the product on Amazon, you will find an enormous amount of people whose lives it has changed...people who have mild mental issues and some who have severe issues. It helps a variety of mental disturbances.
Best to consult doctor if you are on meds already.

lithium orotate again.
By the way, I take Lithium Orotate - 10mg morning and 10mg evening which is considered an acceptable dose.
If I don't take Lithium, I have spiralling negative thoughts, nightmares, wake up to negative thoughts. I get easily enraged. I am impulsive and hyperactive. I embarrass myself with inappropriate statements in public. I feel panic, fear, worry...doom.
When I take it, it goes away.
I've tried multiple brands over the years and they all have worked ? always ?Orotate?. The cost is irrelevant. I spend about $10 a bottle.
I should mention that I also take a low-dose amino acid complex (not a high-dose body building blend) which helps increase serotonin levels. Again, low cost multi. (I?ve used the best and notice no difference). Less than $10 a bottle. Various Amino Acids are found in many anxiety reducing formulas. I have taken several expensive formulas, but an inexpensive, broad-spectrum, low-dosage formula worked best.
When I took the amino acid complex by itself, I simply felt amazing. It was like a light turned on and I was suddenly able to focus for the first time in years. This was an absolute life saver for me as I was having trouble with work performance and have an intense job that requires constant high-level thinking for long hours.
Also, because amino acids are the building blocks of protein, they helped me process sugars, a common issue with people with mental disturbances, I stopped craving alcohol as a means to self-medicate. I also stopped having reactive hypoglycemic reactions to foods and alcohol and no longer get overly excitable when having a few drinks...causing me to drink even more and make a fool of myself.
Amino Acid Complex made my mood so much better and turned a light on in my foggy brain ? but I still felt too hyper and aggressive... much happier but felt a little strange. Adding Lithium created calmness.
It became a beautiful blend that just made me feel normal. My husband can attest. He is alarmed at the results.
Mineral deficiencies are a common cause of mental issues. It might be good to look at other minerals as well?particularly Calcium, Magnesium and Potassium.

lithium orotate again.
Hi coalfire, r u still on lithium orotate? How is it going? I started taking it 3 weeks ago. It is great stuff. Feel calm + less impulsive (have bipolar 2). Was drinking heavily before xmas + had 2 suicidal episodes. Was put on quetiapine (never again) + started researching. Came across dr john gray. What a difference. Dont want to jinx it tho, early days. Taking it with salmon oil and aloe vera. May be something for manic self medicators. Has certainly stopped me drinking.

lithium orotate again.
Hey.
I started taking Lithium Orotate yesterday. I have read so many reviews that state that the benefits of taking it are seen straight away. I haven't noticed anything. I took 15 mgs yesterday and will take 20 mgs today. I know its early days but I after reading such positive reviews on various sites I can't help but feel dissapointed (hopeless). Doe's anyone know what sort of timescale L.O works on?
Thanks
