The trick is not to smell it too much. It has a very bad smell when you open the package up.
And if you cut it up like she did, they are more manageable. Otherwise they are a mile long.

There is some kind of fiber that is not digestible.

Hi Brian

Ok, from my bit of research the best quality noodles of this type are made from Konjac root(also marketed as glucomannan). This is a fibre used in a lot of weight loss products used to produce satiety. As long as one has nourishing accompaniments, then it seems like a great sub for pasta in moderation, of course. Might even give them a go myself. Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I bought some of these a couple weeks ago online, still waiting on them to arrive. I read about these when I was reading about low carb options, the bread and the pasta were mentioned and are very popular in the HCG online world.

I read the secret to getting rid if the fish smell was to soak them for five minutes before using them, and rinse. I will try that - I'm afraid I'll hate'm too Brian, but I figure if I do, I can give the rest to a friend (I bought a five pack).

I'm still eating the bread, have had half a loaf and it is very filling. It makes me nostalgic about the breads I prefer tho! LOL

They're sitting on my table still all wrapped up. I just read reviews on Amazon and most people are very UP on it although most feel its not good in Italian dishes, but a great replacement for egg/wheat noodles in Asian dishes.

I'm getting desperate so maybe this weekend. Just ran out of Smart Carb loaf #1.

What I feel about lose weight, weight management is about long term success. People who lose weight quickly by crash dieting or other extreme measures usually gain back all of the pounds they lost because they haven?t permanently changed their habits?!!!!!

The good thing about this fact is that this bread does not have preservatives that make the "other stuff" lasts for weeks! I used to keep it in the freezer and would warn customers to do the same or at least refrigerate if used within a week. Live and learn Bruun.

That sucks! Considering that it is pretty expensive bread.
Can't you return it?
When I bought mine at the local store, they had it at the freezer section.
