Is this the purpose of MWO? Is this the message that you are trying to share with people who come here seeking help for their problem with alcohol? People from all over the world. Many nations/religions/backgrounds/socioeconomic positions/political orientations are represented here.

I'm glad there is laughter, and a desire for mutual understanding and communication about things we feel passionately about. I, too, weighed in on the OWS movement for a minute before I realized how contradictory that is to the tone and purpose of this site.

I didn't want opinions about politics when I got here. Did you? I wanted a way not to drown myself night after night until death do the bottle and me part. What about you?

I agree 100%, and I should probably stay out of these threads because I am very opinionated. I don't think divisive threads regarding politics should be presented in the forum, but I feel if I don't comment then I am letting people push their agenda and it might scare people off who think more along the lines of me.

Recovery isn't about politics or liberals or conservatives, recovery is about getting a grip on your addiction and finding your way to a healthier and happier you. So I apologize to anyone I may have offended with my views, and I would hope that others in this forum would use it for recovery and healing and not pushing their political agendas.

You should ask yourself a few questions before you post. Is my post going to help someone elses recovery effort? Could my post be offensive to someone who doesn't believe in the exact same things that I do? What am I trying to accomplish with my post? Am I being political by posting my thoughts?

I think most of us are trying to help others in their recovery efforts and trying to improve ourselves by staying active on a forum and staying sober. Threads bashing the government, or blaming other programs, or stating conspiracy theories as fact are helpful to no one in this community, they should be considered spam and be deleted by the mods. The purpose of this forum in my opinion is to help people find their way out of addiction and to show people different options to help them beat the addiction.

These threads(I am including Det's thread Healing the US--fuck me if that doesn't have periods in it!) were never posted to start a debate never mind the debacle some are turning it into!

I beg to differ that it doesn't help some in their sobriety on many levels which I will not go into. All one has to do is watch that movie Thrive. It is encouraging and strengthening to find like minded people who have done their homework and care to live a life that is vastly different from the current economic, educational, medical, emotional and psychological climate that seems to be the norm.

If it does not support your views or your soul, you need comment no further.

It divisive posts like yours NE and SC that are the problem in my humble opinion. Speaking on behalf of Newbies??? How about we let people do their homework and take it or leave.

As for shape shifters and aliens, I am reserving comment. I will say that most of what David has been warning the world about is coming to fruition and fast. Also, David is not about a One World Order and Government. I chose to dig deeper than what's being force fed to us through the controlled media.

KTAB-I did not bring up the subject of shape shifting in this thread. I said I reserve comment on the subject(which meant judgement). Of course that part seems outrageous, however there is much that he speaks about that is being uncovered as fact. Just read the petition I posted above your comment. Perhaps you should do more than 4 mins of investigating before judging. As they say, do not throw the baby out with the bathwater.

It is not my intention to antagonise anyone RC and am sorry you see my disagreeing with you as such.
But the facts are you started a thread based on the words and beliefs of this man and I think people need to see the full balanced story not just the selective bits that suit the point you are trying to get across.

In regard to my basing my opinions on 4 mins of research I quite honestly find that a plainly silly comment. I am familar with the man from the time of his infamous live interview on prime time UK tv back in 1991, which in effect ended his time on mainstream tv. It appears I wasnt the only one that failed to agree with his ridiculous claims. I think that covers 20yrs+, was he know in your part of the world back then I wonder or did he flee across the pond to pedal his words of wisdom after the reaction he got in the UK.

Without going into this in huge detail am I to understand you correctly in that you chose to believe that there is a zionist plot a foot worldwide to create global fascist state and this man has convinced you with irrefutable evidence of this.

If so, fine you are entitled to your beliefs but may I pose a simple question, how credible is somebody who has stated that these people who really run big business and governments all around the world have a bloodline that is 50% human DNA & 50% reptilian and he can personally see them change before his eyes? I wont even mention his preachings on the whole moon and sun and earth crap that he also comes out with.
