1. Does not feel like deprivation; more like liberation
2. Wine does not entice me; I feel no envy for those sipping it
3. Have replaced my drinking with time-filling, fun hobbies like knitting, playing the keyboard and reading
4. I am losing weight; yay - I just might be at my perfect weight by June
5. I have been practicing mindful living and meditation which really centres me
6. My self-talk has gone from self-chastising to gentle reminders that drinking sends me into a tailspin that has repeated itself too many times for an intelligent person to not take serious note of.
I have decided to 'reside' in Holistic Healing because without whole foods, herbal teas, spiritual reading, communion with nature and exploring simplicity and mindfullness, I would not have achieved any sobriety to speak of.
So, on good days and bad, I will report here.
