    day 5

I am on day 5 and noticed an odd feeling in my right upper quandarant not a deep pain almost a little sensitive to the touch. I have not had any withdrawls does your liver start detoxing perhaps? Is there anything other than mild thistle I should do? I do not plan on drinking again. Have attended 3 AA meetings in the past 5 days and will go to my first womens meeting tonight, hubby has been going with me until this point. Any advice is appreciated.

I've read that dandelion is another wonderful herb to help your liver detox and I use it regularly. However, I'm a bit concerned about your pain. If it doesn't go away in a few days, please think about seeing a doctor. A baseline check-up never hurts, right? There are things we can treat naturally, and those that require traditional medical care. I'm not trying to scare you. Your body is probably just detoxing, but I want you to stay safe. Keep us posted.

Daily wine good to see you back! I agree if the pain doesn't go away quickly you might get it checked out. Meanwhile there are plenty of liver cleansers at the health store.keep us posted!

Thanks! The pain seems to be better, I did get a 2 week liver detox at whole foods which is a very good health food store. I started yesterday and wow did I wake up with a headache today. I am guessing toxins leaving my whole body perhaps? Drinking lots of water and thrilled to know the headache is not a hangover
