    Fasting pre and post chemo

SL running class sounds pretty good, you've got to let us know how it goes. Can understand it from both your point of view and the yoga studio's on the calls. I've had it from both sides as a student and an instructor. At least you've been considerate enough to ask.

I think something is wreaking havoc with my normally sunny disposition. I'm full throttle bitch.fest.from.hell. And the down side is pretty low. So either raging wrath machine or sookie sobfest. I can't work out which one I hate the most. Hopefully this too shall pass.

No fasting today. I feel tired and think I need energy. Totally off original plan but rolling with it. x

MHP, that totally sucks. Do the docs tell you that's normal for where you are in treatment? Is it the medication? In any case, sorry you are having to go through that along with everything else.

I've just been googling Ginge and hitting some breast cancer treatment forums. And yes it seems its all normal. Seeing my oncologist tomorrow so I'll hit him up for more details. I think I have to stop presuming what the path ahead will be and just go with it. Back to ODAT.

            Hi, Happy

I'm sorry this isn't as smooth and easy as you'd hoped :l. It's so hard to just accept what is happening while it is happening without trying to control it. I'm dealing with a (vastly less serious) health issue right now and am so frustrated because I can't predict well what is going to cause symptoms and when, making it hard to make plans. It gives me a glimpse of how you must be feeling. It seems like so many of us on MWO are controlling, planner-types. It makes it a bigger challenge to just be.

I hope you're feeling better by the time you read this. xx, NS

Sorry you aren't feeling chipper Happy - it does seem as if it would be appropriate with all that you are going thru.
I really don't know you - but if you needed an ear to have a good bitch fest to, I would be happy to find a time that you could call.
Maybe a short course of some medication could help you thru this stage until you get your mojo back...

NS - hope all is ok with you too with what challenges you are facing...

hugs, love and support to all the lovely ladies here:l:l

Thanks everyone. You're pretty special people. I was really feeling sorry for myself hey? its seems to be the up and down nature of the steroids. I hope! I really don't want to be developing any later life personality traits that really piss me and those I love off!

Did all the things you should do this morning to make the day better, opened the blinds to let the sun come through when it rose, had a cup of tea in bed, dropped kids and did some stuff and then had a walk around the garden. Bit of meditation. MUCH better head space. All this shizzle really works, doesn't it? You just have to REMEMBER to do it. Or just start by doing it and see if it progresses.

NS, I'm hounding you via various means, hope you're ok xxx

MHP, I spoke to my sis that is a cancer survivor. She said she was the same way. UP and DOWN.... She blamed it on the steroids. That was 13 years ago. She doesn't have any problems with the UP/DOWN thing anymore. Maybe this will pass quickly. I sure hope so!!

Just thinking of you Miss Happy and hoping that the sunshine has come back, even a bit?
Hope you are still on a bit of an up.
You are right - the shizzle (love that word - not heard it before, but will use it) does indeed work, it is just sad that when you need it, you feel the least like doing it.
Have a great weekend, with so much love, respect and admiration xx

Hey, have had a lovely weekend. Fathers Days in Australia so very relaxing family time today. And we got to the beach!! had breakfast with visiting relations and then all went for a walk on the sand. Nothing like it! And yes, SL, three years soon. It sounds like I'm blas? if I say I forget where I'm up to in days. I do sometimes. But I never forget what it was like before and I count each day as being that much better and easier because I don't drink anymore. Simple now.

MHP, Three years is wonderful!! But what is even better in my mind is that it's kind of a non-issue for you anymore. I long for the day when I'm just not a drinker! I must say that I rarely think about it during the day anymore and when I do it's usually with a shake of the head and a thought of how stupid I was. I know we can't let complacancy sneek in but obsessing can be a problem for me too and I have to be mindful of that. So glad you got to go to the beach! Always a healing time. Thinking of you always.
