I think you're being pragamatic about your illness (and your sister's death), not cold. Sometimes it is easier to get from day to day and to make rationale decisions by putting the drama and emotions aside for awhile. But when it seems right to feel them, I hope you do that, too :l.

MHP, are you hungry while fasting?
You don't sound cold at all - practical, and you are on a mission to get better as best you can.....and what a great job so far!

Daisy, no I'm not hungry at all. It's only mental pressure to eat, one of my lovely friends dropped a parcel at the door yesterday, full of butter chicken, lasagne and brownies. It took me ages to unclench the brownies from my grasp :H but eh, they're gone now.

I'd stay and chat all day but I've gotta woman up...see you all on the other side of the day x

Morning all. Round 2 done and dusted. Lucky to have my friend with me, it went really quickly. Nothing much to report except a really bad metallic taste rush in my mouth on the interchange of the red drug syringes. Had to suck on a lolly pop to stop gagging, I never have that sort of stuff, my girlfriend had a stash. Didn't have the really bad nausea 12 hour cycle I had last time but weird stuff more related to dry throat and mouth. It seems strange to say its almost like a chemically (der, go figure) crackly sensation leaving you feeling like you're drowning in crystal....imagination running riot, I know. Have a few sips of water and it goes but geez...

Nausea not around at the moment and generally feeling good although a bit hungry, really looking forward to lunch. I'll take my first meds then too, checked with the pharmacist and that's ok.
