From 1854 to 1941 cannabis was listed in the United States Pharmacopia. Big business shut that down. We have cannabinoid receptors throughout our bodies!

Hey Daisy! I'm really good thanks. Becoming a pro at this and much better at saying No and protecting myself. I've been going through the books you sent me, I'm hoping my tastes come back to a healthier eating style soon and I can put them to good use xx

Love hearing how positive you are...
I have always thought about yoga and meditation and now I have a few AF days under my belt I would like to make more improvements. Is there a connection with these and getting up early? Do you get up early? Seems that once my day starts at the normal time there are too many distractions.......would like to hear what you think......

Checking in...kept trying to log in yesterday and was interrupted, so much for not working...must be a transition time. Or as someone wise told me, turn off your phone!!

Daisy, your question is so timely. Starting back to teaching yesterday reminded me of when I was doing my training last year. I was so disciplined and a lot of that had gone out the window lately. So yesterday I started the day off by pulling back the curtains early and letting in sunlight and basically getting up and moving. It helped that my kids were back at school after a long break. I ALWAYS find that if I don't make my practice part of that first start up of the day I get distracted. So I made sure the room I practice in was cleared the night before, ready for me to put my mat down and just start. And normally that means a meditation then doing what I feel works for me. It was only ten minutes yesterday, knew I had the teaching gig later so I was in conservation mode, but you know it doesn't have to be much longer than that. You carry it with you throughout your day.

So, yes, early works for me. In summer its a lot earlier as it gets pretty hot. But for now and the rest of these cooler months its a reasonable time and just a bit of meditation and a some gentle practice made my day.

Just something funny too...I'm putting on a bit of weight and its all bottomside....my yoga tights were like sausage skins yesterday...made me laugh...everyone keeps saying how well I look and you know what THAT means. Lol...

So...fasting from now until chemo on Thursday and beyond....and this is the last of my AC.

DD I've been thinking of you, wondering how you are going?

                              Hi, Happy!

I'm so glad you're able to continue your yoga practice and move into the realm of teaching it to others! I came back early from a trip so that I can go to my class tomorrow - I just love it.

I hope you're feeling well this week and ready for what comes next - a day at a time, right ?

                              xx, NS

Hey NS! Another yoga convert, I love how you've taken it to heart. Yep, I've been thinking that the whole one day at a time concept is as we spoke of, something to put in place when you give up drinking or when you're dealing with an "issue" haha...that looking back at past hurts or projecting forward to might be's is pointless. And that if you start each day with a clean slate it's like setting yourself up for your practice for that day. You're ready to take it all on, whatever it is.

Soapbox time over...I must be hungry, I'm rambling haha...
